Personality

General Traits

Childish: Lisirra is known for childish demeanor, often going between wild temper tantrums and playful joy almost at whim. In general, she shows very little self-control and almost seems at the whim of her emotions.

Scientist: Lisirra, despite her childish demeanor, is very scientifically minded and is one of the foremost experimenters of the Immortals. This has led to her having a surprising wealth of knowledge about matters of biology, virology, chemistry, and medicine.

Unhappy Sadist: Lisirra does take a level of joy in the suffering of others, but unlike many sadists, she out and out hates this. Lisirra finds her own sadism shameful and distasteful, but hasn’t been able to drive it out of her mentality, despite several attempts to do so.

Frivolity and Whim: Lisirra is all but incapable of maintaining a long-term plan for more than a few seasons at most, and her actions are often decided by momentary whims or frivolous urges.

Strengths

Plague Lord: Lisirra’s ability to control diseases, toxins, and insects gives her the ability to quickly create and spread illnesses throughout a population. Since she can control the severity and longevity of her creations, an attack by Lisirra can be anywhere from a particularly contagious cold to nothing less than a devastating plague.

Big Bug: Lisirra has the ability to turn into a truly massive insectoid form capable of directly consuming people and turning them into fuel for her diseases or into new and unique insects. This form is really the only thing that makes Lisirra dangerous in person.

Unpredictable: Lisirra’s whims and childishness make her extremely difficult to predict, as even she doesn’t usually know what her next course of action is going to be, or whether she’ll actually see it through to the end.

Weaknesses

Untrusted: For all that Lisirra was nominally allied with many of the more heroic Immortals, such as Qylios, Ethelynda, or Ilaren, none of them really trusted Lisirra, due to sadism, mood swings, and whim-driven nature, meaning she had no allies that she could really rely on. Even her more chaotic allies, such as Syroa and Aelig, weren’t particularly stable allies.

Physically Weak: Unless she’s in her big bug form, Lisirra is one of the physically weakest Immortals, owing to a combination of over-reliance on her bug form and plague lord powers, and her actual regular body being fairly small and frail compared to many of her kin.

Bad Ruler: While Lisirra was the ruler of Rhakros, she wasn’t really very good at it and wasn’t particularly involved in the rulership of the city most of the time, preferring to leave it to Mortal representatives while she worked on her own experiments.

Personality and Verbal Tics

Nicknamer: Lisirra rarely addresses people by name, instead preferring to give them nicknames that range from affectionate to mocking, depending on how she feels about them.

Mortal Lover: For all the mess that is Lisirra’s psychological state, she does genuinely care about Mortals and has worked to protect them as a species. She is, however, much less reliable when it comes to individual Immortals.

Always Experimenting: Lisirra is almost always working on new diseases or illnesses, or even creating new species of insects. These tend to look like abstracted clouds to outsiders watching her work.

Family Antagonist: Lisirra doesn’t like basically any of her sisters. While she has a neutral relationship with Famula, she still believes the latter was inherently designed to spread slavery through Idalos. She outright considers Moseke, Audrae, and Sintra to be worse monsters than she is, despite having formerly had a loving relationship with Moseke. She also downright hates her creator, Cierel, considering her one of the worst villains Idalos has ever seen.

History

The child of Cierel, Lisirra is one of the most disturbed of the Immortals, and perhaps the one that can be most easily be called evil. The Immortal of Pestilence takes an almost childlike joy in creating new diseases, viruses, parasites, and poisons; and then unleashing them on the world with a reckless abandon. Originally, she had been kept in check by Moseke, who restrained Lisirra's insatiable appetite for experimentation with a firm hand. Lisirra's relationship with her creator, Cierel, had been incredibly strained and Lisirra felt no sorrow at her passing.

Leaving the other Immortals to their grief, Lisirra kept her up her typical behavior, and her relationship with her sister strengthened after Cierel's passing. And then Daia brought news of a new race upon the surface of Idalos, a race that was sentient. Eager and excited by this news, it didn't take long for Lisirra to turn her attention to the human race, and to her surprise and eventual delight, she found that they were largely more resistant to her plagues than animals were, spurring her on to create even more virulent and robust diseases to unleash upon the human race.

However, it wasn't long before the other Immortals each began to claim bits of human society for themselves, for whatever reason, and Lisirra found that she wasn't able to play with her plagues without attacking one of her sibling's territories. Despite this, she refused to stop her experimentation and has at some point crossed almost every single one of her siblings in some way or another.

For reasons unknown that she refuses to share with anyone, the relationship between her and Moseke soured and Lisirra broke away, unleashing a deadly virus into the community most favored by Moseke and wiping out all life there, though Moseke did manage to revive them and create the Sev'ryn. Following this, Lisirra was mostly on her own, though she did eventually make friends with Syroa, though she was still far more aloof than she had been.

Eventually, however, Lisirra got bored of just being on her own all the time and began to wander among human settlements. Much to her surprise, she eventually stumbled across a small group that was trying to replicate one of her older diseases. Having found a group of humans that took after her own mind, Lisirra gathered them and other like-minded mortals together in a corner of the Uzkernia Jungle, one of her favorite breeding grounds for new diseases, parasites, and toxins. Eventually, she learned of the war between the Immortals over the fate of the Mortals of Idalos. Unwilling to allow her siblings to take her new subjects away from her, Lisirra has joined the war on the side of those protecting the mortals, eager to see how the bodies of her siblings are able to stand up to her various plagues.

Appearance

Lisirra appears as a young girl of maybe 13 or 14 Arcs, not quite a child, but not yet an adult either. She has a short, straight black hair and yellow eyes. She is always seen wearing a plain white dress with black stains on it, along with a simple pair of sandals and a feathered headband. Wherever she goes, Lisirra is escorted by a small group of orangish-yellow butterflies that posses an acid capable of immobilizing their victims.

Memories of the Past

For reasons she has refused to explain to anyone who asked, Lisirra hated Cierel with an absolute burning passion. Even now, centuries after her death, Lisirra thinks of Cierel as the one truly evil member of the Original Beings, and the one who's lingering malice is the cause of mortals' potential to do great evil.

Presently

Lisirra is currently staying Rhakros as the city's ruler, the Plague-Lord. Her activities are not known at the time.
