Toxicity/Hazard: Hallucinogenic
Appearance: A squat mushroom, growing approximately five inches tall with a wide cap and discovered in the Ice Caves. These unusual fungi are given their name for their completely transparent and fragile build. Hallucinogenic by nature, it is recommended to avoid eating these surprisingly beautiful mushrooms unless you're looking to spend the next three breaks seeing things that aren't there.
Properties: Hallucinogenic, also gives a feeling of mild paranoia. Over use can cause lasting paranoia and sores under the tongue. Chewing or swallowing whole can release the hallucinogens too rapidly, risking the user experiencing sensory overload. This can cause panic or distress, and terrifying visual hallucinations. Over dosing causes all of the above and risks include brain injury and/or death.

How To Use: Break into fingernail sized pieces and melt under the tongue. Do not chew or swallow whole. Do not eat more than the suggested dosage in less than a three break window.

Appearance: Tall and thin with a tiny cap, the Bakers Wheatwort is an edible and abundant fungi that pops up across the entirety of Scalvoris. It is mostly white with tiny brown speckles on it, and gets its name from the fact it tastes like freshly baked bread. Some chefs experiment with this unique taste with delicious results.
Properties: Tastes like freshly baked bread.
Other Information: Initially found only on the Ice Caves of Ishallr, as soon as these were brought back to the mainland by explorers, their tendency to grow almost anywhere took over and soon they became a common sight.

Appearance: A tiny little fungi, large enough that a Tunawa could carry it easily. This bright red mushroom is shiny much like its fruity namesake, with faded white spots on it.
Properties: The taste is very rich with deep undertones unique to the fungi itself, the flavour referred to as 'bombing' a dish due to its overpowering ability to come through in any dish.

How To Use: Sparingly. Mince and cook to mellow the flavours slightly, or serve diced and raw as a sprinkled garnish. This ingredient is open for culinary experimentation.
Side Effects: Too much can leave the tongue slightly numb.

Toxicity/Hazard: Mildly poisonous if ingested. Sharp thorny leaves.
Appearance: An intricate blue flowered plant that is protected by multiple thorny leaves. Grows to approx seven feet, with the flowers about as big as a standard human palm. Bright blue in appearance, this plant is only found in the colder climates and gets its name from the alluringly beautiful scent it releases. This scent is highly sought after for fragrances across Idalos, and due to the rarity and difficulty to harvest the price is quite high.
Properties: Beautifully scented, the fragrance is said to remind one of a winter evening, yet is distinctively floral in odour.

Appearance: A low growing ground cover bush with small green spear shaped leaves, the Morning Saviour is aptly named for the nausea fighting properties of the small black berries that it grows. These little beads of wonder not only add a rich chocolatey flavour to any dish they are cooked into, but when eaten raw they are a well known and loved cure for a queasy belly. Particularly handy for the morning after a heavy night of drinking, or to assist during pregnancy sickness.
Properties: Anti-nausea abilities when swallowed raw. Tastes chocolatey when cooked.

How To Use: As a medication: Take two whole raw berries orally with a cup of water. Repeat every four to six breaks as required. Do not exceed four doses in a whole trial.
As an ingredient: Add to dishes in the same way you would use blueberries. Must be heated for chocolate taste to occur.

Toxicity/Hazard: Astringent.
Appearance: Some say that Winters Breath gets it's name as it can only be grown in snowy areas, and will melt when in contact with heat. Neither of these is accurate, in fact the plant fairs quite well in most climates and is more of a succulent than a herb, and is more likely named for the white snow-like appearance of its skin. A natural antiseptic, the plant is a handy addition to any healer's inventory.

How To Use: Can be broken, mashed or cut open, and the clear thick gel-like interior mixed at a ratio of 2:1 with water to be wiped or dabbed onto the affected area. If not diluted the gel can, over a period of breaks, lightly burn the skin.

Toxicity/Hazard: none.
Appearance: A thick blood red moss sometimes likened to lava flowing across the rocks it inhabits, Faldrun's Bloom is a rare, powerful and highly sought after anti-toxin. To the current knowledge on the moss, there is not yet a toxin it cannot cure. Extreme care must be taken when harvesting as the moss is very easy to kill and must be used as soon as its collected. Within trills of removing from it's place of growth, the moss starts to wither and dry out. It does not work as a dried plant matter.

Toxicity/Hazard: Mild cannabinoid if ingested or smoked.
Appearance: A small cluster of bright green berries approximately an inch in length and growing off small weedy plants approximately a foot high, these earthy smelling fruits are a fantastic insect repellent if crushed and the juices applied to the skin, and thusly named Bug Berries. A little known side effect, if eaten or dried and smoked, the berries will give users a mild 'high' that last for about half a break.
How To Use: Crush berries to release juice, spread over skin liberally. Some alchemists have moved to refine as a low boiled tincture that can be bottled and carried in a travel pack.
Side Effects: Mild 'high' effect when ingested or smoked.
Status: Legal, when used correctly. Arrests have occurred if caught eating or smoking.

Found: Scalvoris (Cave Systems)
Toxicity/Hazard: none
Appearance: A medium sized flower, approximately three inches across, with sunshine yellow petals covered in a waxy substance, these bright flowers grow only in cave systems where there is little light. They thrive on a dark environment, the lack of sunlight helping to build the waxy coating. Growing in crawling vines, they are abundant when you know where to look.
Properties: Good source of oil that can be used in cooking.

How To Use: The best methods for obtaining the oil from these plants is to either steam in a glass dome where condensation carries the oil up and it drips into a vat of water to be scooped off the top, or to hot press.

Appearance: A tree which ranges in size and looks rather like a maple tree. What is unusual about this tree is its constantly present flowers ranging in size from very small (tiny) to quite large (about 3 inches). Always a deep yellow, Belleflowers hang down from the Belleflower Tree.
Properties: The Belleflower has a sweet aroma and when the wind moves it, it gives out a slight tinkling sound, like a bell. The depth and tone of the flower is dependent on the size.

How To Use: The bell-noise only happens in live flowers, so picking them renders them immediately silent. A Belleflower blooms throughout the arc and is found on a Belleflower Tree, which is common and easy to grow.
