Roipo Nectar

Price: Tier 6 for a small jar

Details: To harvest Roipo Nectar, one would have to fight their way through a nest of angry, territorial, probably venomous reptiles in a dark cave deep in the wilderness of Scalvoris - as such, it's difficult to obtain and rare to find. Roipo is a stimulant, commonly used in the world of sports before training sessions to boost performance, but can also be used as a medicine for weak children to assist with early age development.

How To Use: Ingesting a teaspoon 30-40 minutes before training will psyche up the user, giving them a buzzing energy and the urge to exert it. This only applies to fully grown adults, aged 25~ arcs and older.

Side Effects: Roipo users are often bouncy and happy, constantly bubbling with energy and often seem unaffected by strenuous activity, though this is not the case - they merely enjoy the burn of physical exertion while under its influence and crave more than they would normally, encouraging them to train harder and achieve whatever goals they have set out for themselves in the Athletic world.

When used on children in small doses, it aids in development and leads them on to live in healthier, stronger bodies in adulthood. Some even claim that feeding your child Roipo in large doses on a frequent basis will speed up the process of their maturation, though this has never been tested for ethical reasons, there is evidence to support that Roipo can cut the process of maturity for a quarter of the original time.

Now, should animals lay their eggs in the Roipo Pots from which this drug is collected, the shells will absorb the nutrients of the nectar and 'aid' in the growth of the animals. Being exposed to a constant supply of Roipo would, in theory, create a monstrously large beast with terrifying physical abilities - But that's just a theory.

Scalvblack Tea (also called Pilar's Tea)

Details: A bitter black tea, Scalvblack is a very mild feel-good drug which promotes a general feeling of well being. It is popular in Scalvoris Town as it also enhances the imagination and aids thought processes.

How To Use: Can either be a cup of tea or can be smoked in a pipe.

Side Effects: Scalvblack users tend to be laid back to the point of almost horizontal whilst under the influence. They tend towards more talkative and often experience hunger pangs. It is also used as a means of stimulating the appetite in those who are, or have been, unwell.

Snekvine Salve

Price: Tier 4 for a medium pot (5 average sized wounds)
Out of Tier Purchase: 1 WP/ medium pot

Details: A salve made from the fruit of a Snekvine plant which has been rendered inedible, this has both antiseptic and healing properties. Wounds are much less likely to get infected and heal at an increased rate.

How To Use: The inedible fruit must be prepared carefully over three trials. Rushing it will render it useless.

Side Effects: Too much of the Snekvine Salve tends to leads to thinning of the skin, but this is use in hundreds of doses. Can not be ingested, avoid contact with the eyes. Pregnant women should avoid putting this on their stomach due to the skin-thinning nature of it. Does not work on Yludith.

Sweetwine

Details: The leaf of the Sweetwine Vine plant which has been removed in a particular way, either purposely or accidentally.

How To Use: Must be dried out and powdered

Side Effects: Dizziness, nausea and mild hallucinations. These visions are invariably unpleasant and this is never used as a recreational drug. Prolonged use leads to addiction and an onset of the hallucinations when not under the influence.

Yellow Dragon Leaf

Price: Tier 4 for 10 leaves
Out of Tier Purchase: 1 WP/ 10 leaves

Details: The leaves of the Yellow Dragon Tree. These are large (usually roughly the size of a human hand) and feel soft and moist to the touch.

These leaves are used to treat burns. Laying a single leaf directly on to the skin causes an immediate relief of the burning feeling and, if applied at the edge of the burn will help stop it spreading. If applied immediately, they can stop the skin from blistering.

If kept on a burn, these leaves speed up the healing process and make scarring less likely. However, they lose potency after 2 breaks and must be replaced. Layering them in multiples does not add further benefit.

How To Use: These are stored wrapped in cloth in batches, they will keep for up to 30 trials this way. To use them, simply lay the leaf on the affected area, being careful to ensure that the stem is pointing upwards in order to faciliate fast removal.

Side Effects: As with all parts of the Yellow Dragon Tree, this is poisonous to Aukari, causing them to feel an immense heat, effectively burning them and increasing their internal temperature. Does not work on Yludith.

Yellow Dragon Bark Tea

Price: Tier 4 for a pack of tea containing 10 serves.
Out of Tier Purchase: 1 WP/ pack of tea containing 10 serves

Details: The bark of the Yellow Dragon Tree which has been collected and then broken down into small "shards" which are then seeped in water to infuse as a tea.

Drinking the Yellow Dragon Bark Tea reduces temperature and helps to break fevers. It is safe to give to even newborn babies, although they should have only one teaspoon diluted in water. It has a nasty, acrid taste and promotes sleep and healing.

How To Use: The bark is dried and then broken down. Once this has happened, it can be stored indefinitely. It should be made as any normal tea, infusing it for longer does not make it more potent.

Side Effects: As with all parts of the Yellow Dragon Tree, this is poisonous to Aukari, causing them to feel an immense heat, effectively burning them and increasing their internal temperature. Does not work on Yludith.

Dragon Blossom

Details: The blossoms of the Yellow Dragon Tree which have been collected (only blossoms in Ashan) and then dried and seeped in water to infuse as a tea.

Drinking Dragon Blossom tea acts as a contraceptive. In order to avoid pregnancy, the woman should drink this tea every 28 trials.

How To Use: The blossom leaves are dried and then it can be stored indefinitely. It should be made as any normal tea, infusing it for longer does not make it more potent.

Side Effects: As with all parts of the Yellow Dragon Tree, this is poisonous to Aukari, causing them to feel an immense heat, effectively burning them and increasing their internal temperature. Does not work on Yludith. Drinking this whilst pregnant causes extreme bouts of nausea and vomiting to the point that the woman risks dehydration.

Dragon Sap

Details: The sap of the Yellow Dragon Tree.

Dragon Sap can be applied to wounds to promote healing and minimise scarring. It is a natural antiseptic and helps to reduce the risk of infection.

How To Use: Depending on the size and shape of the wound, the Dragon Sap should be applied with a brush or a small flat stick. It can be applied directly with the hand of the healer, but whatever it is applied with should be cleaned in order to minimise infections.

Side Effects: As with all parts of the Yellow Dragon Tree, this is poisonous to Aukari, causing them to feel an immense heat, effectively burning them and increasing their internal temperature. Does not work on Yludith.

Purple Perl

Price: Tier 5 for a berry
Out of Tier Purchase: 1 WP/ berry

Details:A small purple berry which causes intense hallucination for a brief period of time (half a break to a full break). The plant is rare and very difficult to grow (expert level in gardening or above).

How To Use: The small purple berry of the Purple Perl plant have to be dried and then eaten for maximum effect. If eaten fresh, the effect is halved.

Side Effects: The hallucinations are complete sensory hallucinations and so there is an inherent danger to the user from those. The purple perl is also highly addictive. If taken again within six breaks of the first berry, the hallucinations can last for up to three breaks. If taken over an extended period of time then the Purple Perl causes loss of appetite, serious mental illness and detachment from reality.
