Starter Quest

The hermit on the mountain, a perceived friend of yours, had been found deceased while they looked for you at your mother's request. The wounds of losing your mentor are incredibly fresh, worsened by the information found later in the letter. Your mother had been attacked several trials after your disappearance. She had suffered injury but appears to be recovering well. The letter had been dated trials ago. Whether the writer even knew where to find you was a mystery. Perhaps the Elements had some interest in getting you this information. Had Elias' attacker jumped your mother while searching for you? Be that as it may, crumbs were beginning to fall. The murderer has left one clue behind: your mother.
