Appearance

Unlike most Dragonets, Fierscant are a being of living, liquid metal. As such, they have a very fluid form, but tend towards a natural form of four inches tall at the shoulder, six inches long, and eight inches from wingtip to wingtip, making them one of the bigger Dragonets. As a liquid metal they are silvery in color.

Lifespan and Development

Like all Dragonets, they are born from the ambient energy surrounding their Dragon. In this case, Fierscant are born from the flame and metal around Vindecaldra and are born as a sort of melted steel. They are long lived for Dragonets, living up to five hundred years before the energy holding them together dissipates and they fade out of existence.

Temperament

Fierscant are stubborn creatures that seem to think they're as big and hardy as their bigger Scaripteil cousins. Of course, they are not nearly so tough as a Scaripteil and tend to do little more than nibble on the people they think they need to attack. However, they are extremely loyal once they have bonded with someone and can even be surprisingly affectionate, liking to nuzzle up to their bonded, especially on cold days. Like Scaripteil, however, Fierscant aren't all that bright.

Abilities

Being a liquid metal, Fierscant can't really be harmed by direct contact. They are warm, but not burning, to the touch and of course, rather less than solid. They have a weak healing breath that can heal very small cut or bruises.
