Details:

Riq'al has been serving the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn since he was a young lad. As soon as he was able to safely handle himself on a ship, he became a cabin boy to a Sev'ryn-run ship out of Desnind. This ship would commonly run Tì’al and Tsabar members to different regions to complete their missions. His parents had worked at the docks for long periods of time and were happy to see that he had felt the pull of the ocean. They expected him to take to the oceans; however, they did not expect him to take to Emea as quickly as he had.

Countless trials swabbing the neck with ocean water gave the boy ample time to daydream. His imagination ran rampantly, racing down imaginary corridors to unlock new worlds only he could see. In his sleep, these worlds took like. He would be a thief in one dream, jumping from rooftop to rooftop as he fled the guards. Other times he was summoning waves to expedite a ships travel. No matter what his dream was, the detail was exquisite and the story ornate.

Jesine must have taken an interest in his dreams as he began to see the sleepy woman frequently. He had not imagined her, as she would have been dressed much differently if he had. One night, as he slept, she entered his dream. She took him out of his world and into another person's dream. She explained that this young person was searching for something. She asked if Riq'al could help locate it. It was easy for him, having explored many different dream options. He shared that the lost item - a familiar - could be located if he focused more clearly on the surroundings. Again and again, Riq'al came to the same dream, helping the dreamer focus until they could see the location clearly. Jesine watched and waited, finally satisfied with the outcome.

Riq'al was tasked to return to Desnind and join the Tsabar. He was marked by Jesine and bid to teach Moseke's followers his art. Riq'al gladly accepted the quest. His return to Desnind was expected. His predecessor had been contacted by Jesine and was waiting on the docks for him. Together, they returned to Moseke's temple where he was initiated into the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn. Hand chosen by Jesine, it was not surprising when he became the Ägbẹkọr.

Riq'al believes he has a lot to live up to, having no skill in Empathy. He is capable of helping Sevir locate their familiars. His helplessness to help those suffering the "broken bond" ("coloskivi cehazra" in Xanthea) often requires him to seek help from the other Tsabar members. Riq'al is otherwise cheerful and strong, willing to help out around the temple and within the city wherever it is needed. His dreams may be his world, but the living still have need of him.
