Shadowed Tangle Mute's psyche has been dominated in recent years by the pursuit of the secrets that hide behind all men. It is symbolic, then, that his spark adapts itself to manifest in a very unique way. Where before Mute would see another person's surrounding the person like a halo, with this awakening the Tangle is now seen in the person's shadow instead. The benefit to this ability is that it allows Mute to observe the Tangle without necessarily having to stare directly at the individual, though he'll still find it necessary in the earlier stages of his competency to maintain eye contact or direct touch with the individual, but as he begins to master the domain he'll be able to 'connect' with the target's psyche through the use of their shadow. He's also more greatly affected by the lighting now. High noon or pitch darkness in the room with practically blind him to the target's Tangle whereas the waning sunset or a bright torch will make the Tangle far easier to see and discern.
