Spark Theme & Persona
The Lionheart
Forged from the courage of a friend and set aflame by Daia’s divine purpose, the Lionheart is a spark that seeks internal strength. Though its origins dark and dreamlike, the spark’s purpose remains clear. It calls for courage from both its vessel and its vassals. It demands fear from those who put the ideals of its sworn Immortal to the sword. It tests the mettle of men to see what they truly are made of. When all is dark and hope seems lost, that is when the spark burns its brightest. It is a seething strength that seeks to protect, inspire, and ultimately, conquer the self as well as the enemy.
A combative being, the Lionheart manifests its will by pushing Luther to stand his ground firmly in the face of opposition. It encourages his already contrarian instincts an exceeding amount, making diplomacy difficult when the ghost truly stands against an idea. The Lionheart is not an idle thing and detests complacency when courage is called for. It urges Luther to take a more definite, and oftentimes, more violent stance on disagreements. Still, it is a noble thing, and nudges Luther to intercede on behalf of the weak rather than stoop to the cruelty known to often by the strong. While Luther may contain the mind of a peaceful, if scarred, scholar, the Lionheart urges his soul to become a sword devoted to Daia.
Witchmark
While most Empathy mages’ witchmarks are subtle things stitched across fingerpads, the Lionheart has no desire to sheathe its claws. The spark manifests itself on Luther’s soulform as a series of diagonal scars which stretch across his brow, nose, and mouth. Faint wisps of ghostly blue energy burn from these scars, as if to remind the world of the roar which awaits underneath.
