Appearance: Sunshrooms are a small yellow to orange colored fungi, often with cone shaped caps topped with a purple gradient. The underside gives off a subtle light that is found both aesthetically pleasing and useful along pathways, however if plucked, these little darlings will cease to glow. They remain on the petite side, usually not growing bigger than a few inches tall.

Habitat: Due to Yaralon's moderate temperatures, they survive year round both within and outside of the city. Most commonly found during (and right after) the rainy season due to the excessive moisture, the will sprout just about anywhere, with a number of Yari planting them in gardens for the pleasant glow they give off in the evenings, some even believing the little flora to bring good luck and fertility.

Lifespan and Development: These little fungi are quick growing, taking only a few days to sprout and begin their spread across the land. They are often found in small clusters of three to five but if given the proper conditions, they could take over an entire field. A single Sunshroom has an average life span of around 20 trials.

Uses: Sunshrooms are primarily used in simple dishes, often roasted or chopped to be put into stuffing. Capable of being a side dish or main entree, they have a pleasant nutty flavor and are receptive to absorbing different flavor profiles. Women will sometimes eat these cooked mushrooms during pregnancy and the roots can be boiled in a tea to aid in nausea. Raw sunshrooms are sometimes used as fishing bait.

Abilities: Sunshrooms could be used as alchemical ingredient, but outside of their unique appearance and flavor, they are quite average.
