After arcs of rigorous training, Fridgar's muscle fibers have hardened beyond what is natural. His muscles have toughened to a state similar to layers of bundled steel cables, making them incredibly difficult to slash or stab through. They wrap his bones so tight that they act as extra support for the bone in the face of incredible force and massive weight. If an opponent strikes Fridgar with vastly lower strength, unarmed, they can expect to cause themselves more damage than Fridgar. It would take an expert in strength with a good quality weapon will take 7-10 strikes in the same place to reach the bone and a master will take 3-5 using the same weapon.

The density of his muscles increases significantly as a result of this new-found toughness and hinders his mobility in skills such as running, swimming and climbing and also makes him quicker to fatigue as he now needs to drag around an extra 150lbs of weight, but he's also capable of throwing more weight into his strikes, thus, striking harder.
