Introduction

This is the index page for all PCs who have invented something IC.

Where are they?

• Click on Subcategories below and an A - Z list of PC names will appear. These are the inventors of Idalos.
• Click on the blue triangle to the left of the PC's name - their "Notable Threads" will appear.
• Click on the blue triangle next to that - and it will list all their inventions. These will be named "Invention Invention-Name" so Invention Cat Speak Potion is the invention of a PC and is called a Cat-Speak Potion!

What's The Difference Between A Discovery & An Invention?

For the purposes of Standing Trials, we label something as a "Notable Discovery" when a PC (or a group of PCs) discover something which already existed, but we didn't know about. For example, that Idalos is round, or the cure to a specific disease. It was there, we just haven't found it. An invention is the creation of something new, so a new type of poison, or a piece of technology. Lines do blur and it is possible for something to be both!
