Reminder

The "Top Header" has a number of items on it. Each one leads to a drop down menu and is explained below, going from left to right:

• The House icon takes you to the Portal / Home Page.
• For more information on the Portal / Home Page see the User Guide

Clicking on the "My Links" menu (has a link icon which is all that shows on mobile) gives you the following options.

• My Character This is a drop down menu. When you click it, there are links to every area in the UCP Character Section. If you are unsure what any of these are, please see the UCP CS guide.
• Bookmarks This takes you to your Bookmarked threads. If you aren't sure what these are, please see the Guide to the UCP.
• Templates, Plot Notes, Etc Any thread which you have linked, via your UCP, underneath your Avatar in posts will be auto-linked in your "My Links". If you aren't sure what this means, please see Guide to the UCP.
• Edit Your My Links This takes you to the area of your UCP where you can add up to 10 individualised links in this section.

Clicking on the "Lore" menu (has a book icon which is all that shows on mobile) gives you the following options.

• Wiki Home This takes you to the wiki home page.
• Quick Links This is a drop down menu. It has the following handy links!

• New Player Info

• Progressing Your PC

• Repositories

Clicking on the "OOC" menu (has a page icon which is all that shows on mobile) gives you the following options.

• Help Desk (PSF) Takes you to our Help Desk Forum, known as the PSF.
• The Rules Takes you to the Rule Book.
• OOC Forums Takes you to our OOC Forums
• Points Bank This takes you to the Points Bank page.
• Claims Forum Takes you to the forum which houses all our "claim" threads.
• Medal List Takes you to the up to date list of medals.

Clicking on the "IC" menu (has a circle with a person in it icon which is all that shows on mobile) gives you the following options.

• Global Events' Takes you to Global Events Forum
• Idalos (IC Posting) This is a drop down menu which breaks into the IC forum structure.
  • Moderated Areas - a drop down menu taking you to the various moderated cities / areas.
  • Unmoderated Areas - a drop down menu taking you to the various unmoderated cities / areas.
  • Wilderness & Seas - a drop down menu taking you to the Letters from Afar forum and the various wilderness and sea forums.
  • Adult Section - a drop down menu taking you to the Adult Forum (if you have permission to get there!)

Clicking on the "Posts" menu (has a magnifying glass icon which is all that shows on mobile) gives you the following options.

• Your Posts' Takes you to a list of your posts.
• New Posts Takes you to a list of new posts since your last visit.
• Unread Posts Takes you to a list of unread posts.
• Unanswered Topics Takes you to a list of posts which haven't been "answered" - this is largely not functional since this isn't a Q & A forum, but is a board feature.
• Active Topics Takes you to a list of active topics (threads).
• Search Takes you to the Advanced Search. Note that you can search an individual forum or any list on the specific page.
• Members Takes you to a list of members.
• The Team Takes you to a page showing volunteer staff members and their roles.

Clicking on the "Seasons" item (has a cloud icon which is all that shows on mobile) drops down the following information.

• The current Cycle.
• The current Arc.
• The Seasons in the current Cycle.
• The number of days in each Season.
• The RL date the Cycle started.
• The RL date the Cycle will end.
• The number of days remaining until Cycle end.

Clicking on the "Subscriptions" item (has a bullet-point list icon which is all that shows on mobile) takes you to the "Subscribed Threads" section of your UCP. If you're unsure of that, please see the UCP guide.

This appears as "UCP" if the account you are logged in as has no moderative privileges. If you moderative permissions which give you access to the MCP (Moderator Control Panel) or the ACP (Admin Control Panel) this appears as "CPs" with a drop down menu. Clicking on this item (has a three-cog icon which is all that shows on mobile) takes you to the appropriate Control Panel.

• UCP Takes you to the "Character" tab of the UCP. If you're unsure of what the UCP can do, please see the UCP guide - if you're unsure of the UCP CS then see the guide for that.
• MCP Takes you to the Rewards tab of the MCP, at the Review Queue. A Guide to the MCP will be coming soon.
• ACP Takes you to the Admin Control Panel log-in page.

This is a bell icon. If you have any notifications, the number of them is displayed.

• Clicking on the "Notifications" item shows you a drop-down list of your recent notifications.
• Clicking "See All" at the base of that list takes you to the "Notifications" section of your UCP. If you're unsure of that, please see the UCP guide.

This is an in-tray icon. If you have any Private Messages, the number of them is displayed.

• Clicking this item takes you to the "Private Messages" tab of your UCP. If you're unsure of that, please see the UCP guide.

On the far right, you'll see a small image of your avatar and your account name. There is a small arrow next to it.

• Clicking this item gives you a drop down menu. This includes:
  • User Control Panel. Another way to get there.
  • Profile. A way to access your profile. A Guide to the Profile Page is coming soon.
  • Logout. Logs you out of the site.
  • Linked Accounts. Any accounts which are linked to your current one are included here to facilitate aa quick switch. If you need more information on Linked Accounts, please see the UCP guide.

• The left-hand menu is your easy navigation tool.
• Or you can always go back to the Contents page.
