Rey'na sat up against the wall of her friends house, her glowing blue eyes lit up with a smile. As much as she disliked being a mercenary, it was fun when she spent it with Lilith. When they weren't throwing daggers, beating people or guarding important goods they would go back to Lilith's house and just talk. Having a friend like Lilith was incredible, to say the least. In times like these, especially. She was the sister Rey never really had.
"So" Lilith started, digging around her cupboard. After a few trills, she pulled out a guitar. "I've been practicing, and seeing as you're always complaining about not seeing your musical boyfriend anymore, I decided we're gonna learn to perform together."
Rey smiled in disbelief, taking the guitar in. "If you think I'm going to play that, you're insane. I don't have the talent t-" Rey started, before interrupted with a nice sounding strum. "You're not playing that, I had something different in mind for you. You, Rey'na, will be singing for me""
Rey's face made Lilith laugh, her expression dropping entirely. She hadn't ever sung before, or at least tried to. She would sing every now and again when she heard music, but not in a way that felt like a performance. Rey went to open her mouth to complain, but saw that Lilith wasn't changing her mind, so instead nodded her head in compliance.
Seeing Rey's nod, Lilith cheered and handed her a small sheet of rough paper. On it, some words were written in rough and barely coherent handwriting. Rey'na read over them. A song all about a girl, falling madly in love only to have the love torn away. Rey grinned and looked to Lilith. "You expect me to sing this shit?"
