Bank of Uthaldria

The Bank of Uthaldria, founded by the previous Kriger Roksgard, is a large institution designed to assist citizens in storing their funds and maintaining temporary financial stores in the form of loans. Uthaldria's bank is fairly typical of Western Idalos, in both interest rates and otherwise. It is considered to be a part of the government's property, though it is allowed to function as an ordinary business - government ownership is only to ensure that a plutocracy is not formed in Uthaldria.

All citizens are allowed to join the bank of Uthaldria without charge, though they must make sure to repay their loans on time, or face heavy penalties at the hand of the government.

Note: Loans are put into your Prophet Notes. The requests can be put up in this thread, and approved by any moderator of Uthaldria, but the proper staff members must put the loans into your Prophet's Notes.

Interest Rates:

1 season: 2% (If withdrawals are made).
1 season: 7% (If no withdrawals are made).
1 arc: 25% (bonus for depositing 250gn per season for one year without withdrawing anything).

Rules:

1. You can only make one deposit or withdrawal per season.
2. It costs ten gold nel to open a bank account with Ne'haer Bank.

Eriksen is the manager of the Uthaldrian bank. He has been managing it for two lives, set to task by the previous Kriger Roksgard. There are few with as much knowledge in Uthaldrian banking as him, though due to his knowledge and discipline, he tends to be difficult to work with and generally manages most affairs to his lonesome.

Not much is known of Charlie, other than that he always gets what the bank wants, capable of negotiating any deal and acquiring owed money from virtually any individual.

He apparently came from the north, which leads most people to believe that he is of Melrathi descent, leading many Lothar to be suspicious of him, considering his city is a likely enemy of Uthaldria.
