Hello Rharne!
This is a tracker style event, to see if the Pigasuses, the flying pigs from the calendar, will either return to Rharne on a permanent basis, or be hunted once more to extinction.
Obviously there are only a few pcs to accomplish either the salvation or death of all Pigasuses. So I'm using your kill and salvation counts as an extrapolation of what is going on in Rharne at large.
You're representing a microcosm of Rharne's reaction to the flying pigs.
As such, when you are either hunting or helping the pigs (keeping/capturing them in safe pens and breeding them totally counts as saving), I'll have a count kept track of here. Please submit only threads that have been submittted for review, and I will take a tally before the end of the season, and lock the thread on the 1st of August. Any threads that have not been submitted for review at that point won't be eligible for counting or wells.
Quick Facts about Pigasuses:
They started appearing on the 27th of Ymiden 724.
They fly quite fast, and have a lot of endurance on the wing. It's almost as if they're buoyed by some internal force, rather than their wings. Like hot balloons.
They can generate a quick burst of speed every other break, by projectile defecating in the air. This tends to be also a defensive measure against predators and hunters. Very effective.
Their flesh tastes very very good.
THe wings aren't what's keeping them afloat. They are covered in white-gray feathers, and the wing limb itself is very meaty and tender. The wings are used more for directional steering, not flying.
Anyone who gets projectile pooped on, should (after their thread is submitted and subsequently graded) put in for a psf ticket, a single mutation related to wind. This can be beneficial but not overpowered to the point of being favored levels of power. Just a harmless little thing they can do with wind. Like drying off a little quicker, or self-cleaning with wind.
You can find no more than 1 windstar on any of them, usually attached to their stomach. No more than one windstar in each thread. Not all Pigasuses have windstars inside of them.
That's all there is to it. Please fill out the proforma below, and let's see if these Pigasuses are here to stay:
