Seira had a lot to think about as she went about her morning routine. She had gone out to the market when it first opened because she needed food to last her the next few trials. She had also wanted to buy some more seeds and seedlings to try her hand at gardening again. And she had wanted to get that task out of the way quickly so she went earlier than she usually did in the hopes of avoiding the crowds. While she was at the market, she had heard rumors about a local stray that had been kicked out of the Tribune Kennel for its aggressive behavior. Seira felt bad for the dog because it had been kicked out of the only home that it had, but she could also see why it had happened. The dog was clearly a threat to the other dogs in the kennel as well as to those who worked there.
The rumors of strange things such as nightmares and children speaking in tongues happening to anyone who tried to adopt the dog were disturbing as well. And those afflictions had spread to other dogs in the kennel too. More rumors told her that Ilaren herself had offered a reward for anyone who could figure out the cause of the dog's curse and fix it. Seira hoped that someone would be able to do just that. If they good, then maybe the dog could finally find a good home.
On a more positive note, she was meeting with her friends for another language lesson later. She had really enjoyed the lessons she had had in Cylus, and she was really looking forward to this one too. Not just because she was getting the chance to learn a language she was really interested in, but because she enjoyed spending time with her friends. They usually did something fun together after the lesson, and Seira found herself looking forward to that more than she was the lesson herself.
With those thoughts in mind, Seira rushed through her morning tasks as quickly as she could without neglecting any of them or failing to give her pets the care that they needed. Once she was done, she gave Ryu a last snuggle since she was waiting by the door for her. Then she headed out.
