The
Sovereign Nation of
Iulure

Welcome to the Iulure Isles.

The climate of Iulure despite its arial position still reflects that of the rest of the world. The biggest difference though is the clouds. Iulure could be said to be a misty nation as the clouds move among the Isles. Due to its elevation wind is a almost constant aspect of daily life.

Cylus – As the darkness settles across the world the floating islands aren't any more immune to its darkness. The winds become frigid cold and often accompanied by particles of ice or snow. The farther into the season the more intense the cold and the ice particles become. (Iulure Months associated with this season. Dearbruoa 1st to 30th)

Ashan – With the return of the suns, the winds begin to warm up. The first couple of weeks see the snow slowly melting. Then the clouds return and turn the isles into a world of mists. The mists can become very intense even dangerous as they obscure the world. Rain doesn't really fall upon the islands durning this season. The clouds pass across the islands and just leaves the world soaked behind it. The whole of the islands finds this season to be very damp. After about two thirds of the season has passed the clouds become less moisture heavy and also less dense and the mists become very pretty and the world is pleasantly warm. (Iulure Months associated with this season. Dearbruoa 31st, Artere, Drathaidir, Frosvinndur, Kuvarakh 1 to 29)

Ymiden – The clouds continue to pass through the isles. It isn't uncommon for them to leave water behind after passing through. They warm up to warm and progress towards hot. Given their elevated location as islands above the seas hurrican's aren't uncommon but do the elevations they only have to deal with the winds which can be damaging enough themselves. (Iulure Months associated with this season. Kuvarakh 30 to 31, Lutrego, Scaithrect, Vielkrontier 1 to 19)

Saun – As the Suns settle in there orbits determined not to set the winds that blow across the isles drop to almost none existent. While for the Iulure people the weather is hot compared to other places it isn't as bad due to the higher elevation. It is the driest season of the year rarely does a storm cloud come and deposit moisture. (Iulure Months associated with this season. Vielkrontier 20 to 31, Vindecaldra 1 to 28)

Vhalar – The first part of Vhalar is also cloudless and fairly dry, but the wind begins to blow again and after a couple weeks the clouds with their moisture returns. The winds continue to pick up through out the seasons though more heavy clouds only begin to appear in the last third of the season. Despite the return of the rain it takes a while before the islands are once again as moist as in earlier season. Some years the last third will see snow others years just intense rain. (Iulure Months associated with this season. Vindecaldra 29 to 31, TBR, TBR, TBR, TBR, TBR 1 to 27)

Zi’Da – As the last season settles in the Isles look like they are floating in a Sea of Clouds. The winter storms settle around the bases and lower halfs of the islands. Sometimes the storms will leave snow on the upper elevations of the islands, but the lower elevations spend most of the season covered in snow. the clouds will clear up for parts of the season but the air is cold and has so much moisture that it doesn't have enough time to melt between periods of cloud cover. (Iulure Months associated with this season. TBR 28 to 31, TBR, Luesco)
