Description: One of the most well known celebrations in the empire, largely because it started as an act of benevolence by the Empress that was almost immediately embraced as a yearly holiday by the empire. Commerating a time when Raskalarn opened the castle's storerooms to the populace during a particularly harsh Cylus, the Feast of the Empress is held in the middle of Cylus. Every major Imperial educational and military installation opens its storerooms for three days, holding a grand feast that every citizen of the Empire may partake of without cost. In addition to being a time of general gathering and merriment, it also eases the worries of the populace in regards to keeping themselves fed throughout the rough Cylus nights. Ashan 723
Weather
General: As the weather starts to warm up during Ashan, the snow melts in the Cahyrst Region, Old Dynaash, the Southern Plains, the Sacred Forest and the Korlasir Region. All five regions see an increase moderate to heavy rains sporadically throughout the season. The rains are particularly heavy in the Korlasir Region, meaning the crops go in late due to the heavy rains.
Exceptions: The Volcanic Mountain Range does see an increase in rain, but it affects little in the area. The Hotlands Border Range and the Winter Reach both still experience heavy snowfall due to the mountainous nature of the range and how far north the reach is. The Hotlands see neither rain nor snow, and instead just start getting increasingly hot during the day, though the nights are still cold.

Description: After having raided for food and then disappeared during the winter, the wild hogs that have been causing problems in the Southern Plains have returned. Instead, they're merely wandering around the Southern Plains. There's been sightings of a mage walking among them, however, much to the curiosity of the locals.

The March is basically an empire spanning parade, with crowds gathering to both welcome the incoming soldiers and to see the outbound soldiers off. Because of this and the sheer size of the empire, the March doesn't happen at the same time all throughout the empire, instead spanning a range of 15 days, with each gathering happening when the soldiers depart or arrive.
