Vhalar Weather:24th: The first light snowfall of the cycle starts lasting only a few trials in the afternoon
49th: a surprise blizzard his Viden for two breaks
77th: Rain begins to fall in the early morning hours lasting for the whole break
Vhalar Events:
1st: The start of the Cold Cycle has arrived. News of Fadrass has reached Viden. Yvithia calls for the xitizens to band together in getting supplies to send to Scalvoris for the clean up. (unmodded)
6th: The garrison keeps track of all donations for the recovery supplies bound for Scalvoris. Anything none parishable is being loaded on to the ship. Food is being kept at the reserves till the day it ships out.
11th-17th: The city takes time to celebrate one of the few holidays is has as Synnefa arrives.(unmodded)
21st: A tournament is being held at the fitness center of the academy. Everyone participating is trainers at the facility. Anyone can attend.
24th: The first snow of the cycle hits the city with a gentle flurry. The fresh snow on the ground makes travel between Viden and the outlying villages harder. Caravans are waiting out the snow for several breaks.
30th: Within only six trials before the ship sets sail, the garrison makes a final push to load as much as can be on the ship.
36th: The ship departs on its way to Scalvoris carrying all the goods that had been collected. Yvithia thanks everyone who helped to gather materials and supplies. (unmodded)
40th: The city sets its sights on preparing for Zi'da. More snow begins to fall lightly for the next several breaks.
43rd: The Dean of Sciences retires leaving a position to be filled. The fellow deans put together a debate for the top three candidates. Everyone is invited to attend the event. (modded)
49th: The first blizzard of the cycle hits the city before the light of the suns has even broken the horizon. The storm lasts for two breaks.
52nd: When the blizzard passes the city becomes a flurry of activity. Hunters are urged not to go far from the city without a partner due to the bizarre weather.
55th: Tundra Ranch calls for help getting the last of the animals prepared for the heavy snowfalls of Zi'da. Many calves had been born that will need to be counted in all the herds.
60th: The deans of the academy decide to celebrate what the students have accomplished by holding its very first science fair in three breaks. They send words to their sister campuses inviting their students to come join as well.
63rd-70th: The science fair begins with a bang as the different divisions of the academy get their expositions set up. The main attraction for the week is the science divisions projects.(unmodded)
77th: Clouds roll in bringing with them thunderstorms that threaten to turn into freezing rain.
80th: After the storms pass it is nearing time for the annual luna moth and ice queen moth migrations. It is said to be one of the most beautiful sights in the whole of Idalos.
84th: As night falls and the city is covered in darkness the citizens of Viden try to find anywhere they can to watch the sky as the migration begins filling the sky with thousands of blue and white moths.
93rd: A strange voice can be heard singing at night a soft dark melody that causes the elders to whisper of a darkness returning to the city.
110th: With the temperatures beginning to drop the bodies of water around Viden begin to freeze over for the duration of the cold cycle.
123rd: The end of Vhalar has arrived, the city feels it is as prepared as it can be for Zi'da to arrive. The last heavy snowfall of Vhalar begins going straight into Zi'da.
