So, I've been writing since before I was in high school, though in those over 4 years, I've spent 2 on non-English writing, so that won't count towards my experience and the rest of the time on beginner-level sites, and from just reading a couple posts, this site is not beginner level. But the best way to learn is to sail the uncharted waters, ain't it?

I have a character in mind, though he will probably change as I get a better understanding of the lore, and I'm hoping to get his sheet up sometime tomorrow.
Outside of writing, I like video games, dislike abstract art, and like reading fantasy, and lately even some more grounded books, the favourite of which would have to be Marina, by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, which I have to recommend to anyone and everyone. I've read it twice in the last 2 months, and am planning to read it again once I have even more free time. It's such a good book that it could easily hijack this introduction, but I won't let it.
Thanks for your attention and inevitable warm welcome (I like to assume things), I am truly looking forward to this experience!
