Gangui was tired, very tired. He was barely conscience of anything going on around him at this point. Exhaling deeply he felt the tension in his back and legs unravel. Normally, Gangui would be in a hyper-vigilant state and utterly terrible as he was when he first met Nightshade, but in his weakened state he let down one of the walls he had built up previous.
Leaning back, he slumped over in the bed, "...I do not accept charity... I will repay you soon...very...soon..."
Slowly his eyes began to close as darkness consumed him and mumbled utterances escaped his lips, "I swear allegiance to no man or woman... but... I will fight with.. you.... just... all.... do... gotta... ask... and I will... ask... another.... sword.... day... I'll fight...with you..."
Finally sleep overcame him and Gangui fell into a deep slumber that his body had called upon him in order to recover from over exertion and exercise from before. Sprawled out on the bed in a misbegotten shape, he began to snore. If Nightshade stuck around to creepily stare at him sleep, she would notice that even during sleep he did not rest completely and would toss and turn every once in an while.
Two trials later
As if gasping for air after being drowned, Gangui woke up in a frantic state of mind. The bed was drenched in his own sweat and his shirt was cold and damp. The barbarian's immediate reaction was to find his sword. Reaching around his lap and under his pillow provided no results. His heart started to beat faster as panic gripped him. Suddenly his eyes locked on the familiar fur sheath on the other side of the room. Jumping out the bed, he forgot about his arrow wound and put full force on his leg only the yelp out in pain. Hobbling across sun-lit room, his mind was put to ease as he touched the familiar iron handle of his blade. Leaning against the wall, he slid down and sat on the floor for awhile.
Someone knocked on the door and swung it open: It was one of the tavern wenches. Peering over his shoulder, he gazed at her with wide open eyes.
"You are finally awake, I thought I heard something! Breakfast is ready downstairs, I am sure you are famished," With that she closed the door and left Gangui to his own devises.
Putting his hands over his face, the wild man let out a deep sigh and tried to recollect everything that had happened recently.

Comment: Very fun to see Gangui so delirious! Just a note - if Gangui was that feverish, I doubt the doctor would say he was fine because it was just a flesh wound. That sort of delirium either means severe blood loss or infection, both of which would be taken incredibly seriously. Just a thought!

Very fun thread! I really enjoy watching the two of you interact, especially given that Night had to save him! Well written for the most part, just keep an eye out for some grammatical errors around dialogue mainly. PM me if you have any questions.
