Appearance/Biometrics: A dark skinned biqaj with salt in his curly black hair. He's well built for his age, accustomed to long years at sea under the yoke of the Iron Maiden and her crew.

Personality: Korm is a serious man, well disciplined from his active service on the Iron Maiden's ship, strictly commanded by the Pirate Lord. He prefers to negotiate over fighting, but is not averse to bloodshed when it's necessary. However he's far from a cutthroat, and for the most part prefers to take what he can without a fight.

Backstory: An old salt under the Iron Maiden's crew, he's one of those responsible for the running the everyday tasks of the crew. He's spent many years at sea, but at times ashore has fathered several children with Navnea Utojesk, who presumed him to be dead before the Pirate Lords returned.

Appearance/Biometrics: Standing at 6' tall, a swarthy man from Bayward in Ne'haer, his eyes are brown, and he has an aquiline nose on his face, which is framed by neck-length black hair. He wears humble attire most times, practical toward his career as a crafter of nautical structures.

Personality: Uncompromising and somewhat impatient, he doesn't like being idle for long, and brooks little tolerance for those in his field who don't think big and execute flawlessly. He is a visionary personality, with a workaholic temperament that doesn't allow him much time left over for personal pursuits. Married more or less to his work, he's more interested in leaving his mark on the world through developing large structures that are remembered to have been designed by a visionary.

He often shouts loud when he wants to be heard, as he suffers from partial hearing loss from having served as a gunner in a Bayward war vessel.

Backstory: Shipley started out his life aboard a war vessel in Bayward, hunting pirates under privateer captains. This is where he learned much of his leadership qualities, as well as how to aim and fire a cannon. He quickly ramped up his usefulness to the crew as he apprenticed beneath the carpenter of the ship, learning to rebuild various structures, learning much about shipbuilding into the bargain. Here is where his leadership qualities really came into their own.

Currently, Crawford is known as the student to one of the more skilled and renown ship-builders of that territory. He's toiled on many a ship and port in order to build his own reputation, to the point where he's regarded as something of a renaissance man. An expert at several aspects of design and construction, his career has been spent building up his reputation for creating and beautifying great vessels and structures, whether with stonework, wood, or metal.

Appearance: He stands at 5'4", with a stocky build, delineating his long lineage of miners that came before him. His graying, brown hair hangs from his scalp and beard in wiry strands. He often carries a series of cages and traps along with him as he goes about his work, catching rats and other critters for meat. He uses a staff as a walking stick and his weapon of choice when it comes to bagging his quarry.
Personality: Easy going and amiable, despite his ragged appearance, Mustelo is one of the up and coming rat catchers in the city, providing cheap meat to vendors around Ne'haer. Yurrova born, he comes from miner stock, which perhaps explains his short stature. He uses his low height as an asset as he navigates cramped tunnels in the underground and sewers, catching, cleaning, and dressing the corpses of rats.
Relationship to PC: One of the more prolific rat-catchers that Woe has hired on to keep the meat flowing for his food operation.

Appearance: He stands at 5'9", with a prodigiously fat build, owing that to his habit of imbibing legendary amounts of grog and eating fried foods. His skin is often greased with some form of ungeunt or another. He's entirely bald, with many decorative tattoos all over his head, body, and face. All along his skin are piercings, which catch with sharp edges on anyone who grazes his skin.
Personality: A bon vivant if ever there was one, he's nevertheless serious when it comes down to combat. He teaches Vy'Ufnaji in the Training Grounds of the Coliseum, yet has had not much luck in finding students lately, given the rise of popularity of Ki'enaq out of Etzos.
Relationship to PC: Woe meets him at the coliseum and convinces him to teach him the style of Vy'ufnaji.

Appearance/Biometrics: A stout man, wearing simple clothing. He favors a bright blue jacket that comes down just above his knees, with tin buttons. His face is roundish, with curly bronze hairs circling his receding hair line. His expression tends toward the cheerful.

Personality: A cheerful and sociable man. Ready with a good drink for anyone who has a need for one. He's got a family in Egilrun, and will often boast about his children and what they're up to, to anyone who will listen. Otherwise he provides a sympathetic ear to anyone that sits at the bar. He will share about his current life as a family man, but when asked about his past he's unusually reticent.

Backstory: He used to work under the Pirate Lords, providing them with good spirits and keeping them in drink in order to buy them off, as a sort of tax. He for one is very glad that they're no longer around, as their absence has made prosperity possible. He's lived in Egilrun for twenty years, but spent much of his younger days travelling the world, everywhere from Ne'haer to Desnind, to Rharne and the Eternal Empire. He doesn't like to talk about his early travelling days.

Appearance/Biometrics: A woman with light blonde hair, who stands tall at around 6'1", she wears professional attire at all times, and a severe but not unwelcoming expression oftentimes. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: Primula holds herself with confidence, and deals harshly yet with a measured response to any disturbances occuring in 'her' Inn. Thankfully, due to the Neutral Ground enforced by the owner, Woe, she never has to deal with violent outbursts. But at times conversations do get heated, and it's then that she dispatches either Gwarpy or another bouncer to deal with the situation discretely.

Backstory: She's spent most of her life in Almund as a minor clerk for an Inn there, but was drawn to Egilrun by the constant turmoil unfurling in her home city. In Egilrun, she's found a measure of stability she's craved, and an important position as an Inn and Hotel runner for the Onyx Hall.

Role in the Tavern: Administrator and receptionist.

He's downright thin and underdeveloped, perhaps owing to his Qi'ora heritage. He often wears a beret, rarely seen without it. Brief Overview: A young man who desperately wants to escape from the Empire, to avoid military service. People often call him craven for not joining the military, but he maintains in spite of their assurances that he's clearly not suited to it, and doesn't care for Raskalarn's mission to unite the world militarily. He wants to be a businessman, with dreams of opening a counting house of his own in one of the countries surrounding the Empire.

Appearance/Biometrics: Waif-like in build, yet strong for her appearance as most Naerikk are, she has light, dusty brown hair and striking green eyes. She often expresses the appearance of being helpless, but uses this perception as a defensive mechanism in order to undo anyone who means her harm.

Personality: Sage is a kind and caring individual, unlike most of her kind who were raised into the matriarchal slave-state that is Augiery. She often stood apart from her sisters, even while going on outings on the surface, caring for animals and bringing back 'strays' to Augiery quite often to be her pets.

Backstory: Sage was undoubtedly influenced by some form of slumbering communication with Kuvarakh and his servants, who guarded his awakening. She was markedly unlike many of her brutal and sadistic kind. Yet for all that, she managed to fly beneath their notice, and participated as lightly in their injustices as was possible. She ranged on the surface of the world on her own most of the time, in search of adventure.

She was a clever study and learned much of the world outside of the dark city, as she came of age and surveyed the outside world. She became quite the formidable adventurer, having a few notable escapades outside of her home. Sage joined a privateer crew operating out of Yaralon, and lived as a mercenary for a time, sailing far and wide in search of trouble. Yet she maintained a staunch sense of right and wrong, which was an oddity for a Naerikk, even though it expressed itself in brutality toward those who deserved it.

It was this singular nature and also a concern for justice that got the attention of the servants of Kuvarakh, who thought that she alone among her kind might have a chance of braving the puzzles and traps that held him imprisoned and slumbering. That in tandem with her access to Augiery might make her a perfect candidate to free him. Yet when it came time for the expedition into Kuvarakh's slumbering place, she fell short of the Dragon and was wounded.

It wasn't until several adventurers, including Woe, reached the chamber where she'd fallen that she got the medical help she needed. There, she finally got to meet the Dragon that had subliminally communicated with her for so long, along with Woe. When Kuvarakh pledged his effigy upon Woe, Sage was swift to pledge her service to the Mortalborn, and guide him toward a greater knowledge of the Dragonkind.

In-Game History Thus Far:

Relationship to PC: Undetermined as yet. Woe has offered to take her onto his household as a caregiver for the dragonling, dragonet, and his other animals while learning more about dragons together.

Appearance/Biometrics: Long cascading brown hair tied with golden twine. Her eyes are a sullen brown with a couple of simple gold pieces of jewelry to make her look more appealing. She has thin lips and a pointed face, one used to daily trials. She has a slip-like build, standing at 5'7" with lightly tanned skin.

Personality: A serious woman, Soraia is nevertheless obedient to whomever she is enslaved to. A second generation slave, her family that came before her were smugglers, and gave birth to her while in temporary slavery. As such, she was indoctrinated at a young age. Even so, she has a keen intellect, and is a fair hand at medicine, caring for wounds and illnesses major and minor. She is reticent often, unless prompted to speak, but sometimes will express a rebellious streak if she sees someone disrupting her work.

Backstory: There's not much to tell. She has been in the family of a prominent councilor to the Guild of Hospitality for most of her life, taken in after birth, where her smuggler parents had been caught sneaking ambrosia into the neighborhoods of the gleam. The parents were kept for a few years in slavery and her mother gave birth to her then, subsequently condemning their daughter to slavery although their sentence was merely temporary.

In-Game History Thus Far: She has since been freed by Woe. He gave her his old house in Egilrun. She's a green cloak in the Order of the Adunih.

Relationship to PC: As an act of gratitude for his many services, the Guild of Hospitality has granted Woe the ownership of this slave. When he moved to Viden, sometime after that, he freed her. They're on friendly terms, and she even watches his children and animals for him on occasion.

Appearance/Biometrics: Standing at around 2'5", he's rather large for a tunawa, but slender. He often wears dark clothing and makes up his eyes with poorly applied mascara. His bark is pale beech colored, and he has a set of rabbits ears that droop when he's sad. Which is almost all the time.

Personality: A gloomy tunawa, that's often found to sigh listlessly at the sky. He tends to have negative moods and thoughts and likes sharing them with others. He enjoys spending time in dark places, like caves, dungeons, deathly imagery, and cemeteries.

Backstory: Gloom was born one day when Woe met Rabu in a dream, and Rabu failed to make friends with Woe. Gloom was spawned from Rabu as a clone and went in search of Woe until the day he can find him.

What Gloom Believes is his Backstory: Gloom was born on a rainy day, in the darkest of Cylus in an Ojogbon tree in a cemetery. His mommy died when he was very young, and his step-mother (A groundskeeper) was very cruel to him, forcing him to do impossible chores and other hopeless errands. One day, he got lost on one such errand and found himself wandering the world listlessly. He had a dream one day about a child named Woe, and wishes to find this child as he believes he's the only one that can be a true friend to Gloom.

Appearance/Biometrics: Kraig was a man of many graces, outgoing, intelligent, and handsome. Kraig was tall, about 6'2", with bleach white hair and classically strong features. His eyes are black, and his complexion is tanned.

Brief Overview: A sanguine and exuberant man for an executioner, he approaches his trade with all the passion of a performer. He encourages his fellow jailers to treat their profession as less of a means to a meal ticket, and more an honorable and stately position. After all, theirs is the role of doling out justice on behalf of the people. Since his time out of Rynmere, he's traveled the world, going from place to place offering services as a bounty hunter and soldier of fortune. It's not a life he particularly enjoys compared to his prior career, but he approaches it with the same grandiose atitude.

Personality: Although she was raised a Webspinner, she is not a cackling fiend or charicature of a villainous sorceress devoted to Labrae and Sintra. She's actually mild-mannered, with a slightly sad disposition. However, her moods run deep, and she finds a great wellspring of anger in her abandonment issues, which Labrae was all too happy to nurture during her upbringing.

Backstory: Conceived during a twisted festival thrown by Erastus and a pair of other Webspinner cells in Rynmere, Andaris, during what was termed by the Sintra cultists themselves as a Dance of Degenerates. The Dance of Degenerates was a ceeremony meant to introduce female Webspinners to the finer arts of seduction and inducement, while testing the male's discipline and temperament in the face of such advances. Blodwen is the product of the brief union of Woe and Lacrima, during that ceremony.

Upon her birth, she was given over to Labrae by Lacrima and her mistress, Brigantia. She hasn't known her mother or father in all that time, raised among the Webspinners in Yaralon, in the Ghost Burho. However, in Saun of 721 when the dragon Vielkrontier demolished large portions of the Ghost Burho, Labrae was driven out with her children. For Blodwen, she was considered old enough to forge her own path in the world, and sent along with some other youths to journey beyond Yaralon.

There, she made her way with the caravan of youths through Fool's Run, on the way to Volantan territory, warned against entering the Eternal Empire by Labrae herself. Eventually, she made it to Rharne, and by Flutterbus, made it to Scalvoris. There, she has only one mission. Find her parents, one or the other, and destroy them.

Appearance/Biometrics: A young human kid, with platinum blonde hair, fair complexion, and standing at 5'3". His eyes are grayish blue.

Personality: Sullen, fatalistic, but nonetheless grateful to Woe for adopting him as an apprentice/protege, Iago does have a cynical streak, colored by his dealings with authority figures. He dislikes the Theocratum, the Dragoon captains, and the aristocracy to an extent. Woe is slowly teaching him to bury his feelings of disdain for these factions, in order to get along.

Backstory: A boy that hid out from the draft in Quacia, when it came to the press gangs driving those who were old enough into service. He grew up in the Shanty, with his two siblings and both parents. The parents were drafted into the Dragoons, and thus killed in the early fighting against the Creep in the arc 720, leaving the three siblings to fend for themselves. In the shambles of the Shanty, they hid out until the threat of the Creep passed, and until Woe found them and lifted Iago out of the wreckage. He adopted the boy as his protege, but leaving the door open to his siblings to join his house if they like.

Appearance: Wild, disheveled hair frames his face, and in fact nearly covers it in a curtain of wild, curly brown locks. His complexion is tanned, from much time spent in the sun from having lived in the wilderness for such a long time on his own. His eyes are black. He stands at 4' tall.

Personality: A brash and enthusiastic youth. He's unable to communicate verbally. Whether this is due to some physical anomaly or psychological trauma from the past, is a matter of conjecture. However, he can understand common well enough, and uses Common Sign fluently. He's lived in the wilderness for some time alone, getting by on his endurance and knack for fieldcraft.

Relationship to PC: Woe meets this boy on the road, and he acts as a guide of sorts for the Rynmerian. At the end of their trip, Woe ends up adopting him as his own, but Toutouyeruns away before he can convince him to stay. Nevertheless, the boy often follows Woe when he ventures out of the cities. Toutouye seems afraid of civilization, for some unknown reason.

Ether Scent tracking: Whether because his former owner was a Quacian mage, or simply through a quirk of his breeding, Botany has found that he has a very good nose for ethereal anomalies, such as wells, fractures, and so on. To the point where he's adopted a very specific behavioral response toward the finding of these anomalies. When he locates a nearby well, he will stand on the spot near where it's forming, and set its paws low on the ground in a bow. When he has located a nearby fracture, he will spin chasing his tail, until his handler follows him to the source of the disturbance. If he notices a mage of any degree of skill over novice, he will whine at them in a very specific tone.

The ability to track ether is trained behavior for the most part, and not transferable to the dog's offspring, or to items through alchemy, becoming, or anything else. It's specifically an ability of Botany that he was given training to do, rather than an inborn ability of his breed.

Abilities:


Base Quality: A highly intelligent dog with good quality training and conditioning. He can communicate with Woe telepathically whether in physical form or in spirit form.

Sinking into Sorrow: If, during the course of tribulation Breen becomes too injured to continue physically, he will sink into spirit form, where he will feed on his master's sorrow until he is ready to return to his physical form.

Drinking Sorrow: Breen can absorb sorrow directly from a person, or even ambient sorrow in the case that people are sharing their sadness. He can store this sorrow, and it makes him slightly stronger, but allows him to store a bit away for using his other abilities.

Seeker of the Sorry: Breen has a nose for those who are sad or emotionally vulnerable. He'll be able to tell when someone is in deep emotional distress, regardless of how well they hide it. Additionally, he can track the emotional traces to their source in the case that he's not in the same area as the person in distress. Approved.

Gift of Sorrow: When a person is undergoing moderate psychological or emotional distress of any kind (anger, envy, hate, delirium, or even catatonia etc.), Breen can effuse them with a sense of sorrow that relieves their mental distress. The person will have a cry for a few bits, and then feel better supposing the cause of their psychological/emotional distress doesn't persist, as in such ailments caused by curses/mark abilities/magic. In cases where the source of emotional distress persists, the gift of sorrow can only provide temporary relief, lasting at most a couple of breaks, during which they'll be receptive to psychological/emotional treatment in order to effect a more permanent improvement in their mental state. This gift can be given roughly once a trial by Breen. Approved

Apples - Apples will accompany you for the season. Apples is a spider who can talk - but only you can hear them. Apples is able to "phase out" (think like a Velduris wolf) but Woe is able to summon Apples, or Apples may choose to be visible / not. Should anyone try to stomp Apples, they'll discover that Apples is a Very Very Very Tough spider.

Egil - Araman Musizu's (The Warden's) raven familiar. Now it belongs to Woe.

Base Quality: Egil is a shadow spirit, gifted to Araman by Audrae herself, and also as a way of keeping an eye on her lover. It has a purely physical manifestation when it's not sunk into the beneath. It doesn't speak telepathically to its bond-mate, but it does speak aloud to any and all who can hear. When injured, the bird will be reduced to a single feather, from which it will reemerge in five or so trials from the beneath when it's recovered its vitality. The feather is susceptible only to attacks that would harm spirits, such as with copper weapons or otherwise magical items that affect spirits. Should it be destroyed by these means, it will take thirty trials roughly for the spirit to reconstitute itself.

Main Ability: Egil's Eye: When Egil is manifested and nearby Woe's side, he can sense through any and all illusions, magics, or abilities meant to fool his senses. This doesn't apply to lies or sensing the truth or artificial deceptions, but only those that are supernatural in nature.

Appearance: Calixia stands at around 4-6 feet tall depending on Woe's current level of wealth. At Tier 8 she's 4 foot tall, at tier 9 she's five feet tall, at 10 she's six feet tall. At tier 7 she gets fed up and leaves Woe, only to return once he builds up his wealth again.

She has golden hair, that shines like metallic leaf, with fairy-like butterfly wings that also resemble thin golden leaf. Depending on her current level of strength, she has floaters of little winged golden fairies surrounding her, which are mostly cosmetic and do not interact or talk to anyone. If one tried to interact with the creatures, they'd find them turning up their noses in derision. The only exception would be if the person talking to them is wealthy, in which case they only wink at them or make other subtly flirtatious overtures.

The only aspect of her appearance that seems to deviate from the golden leaf aesthetic, is the color of her robes or dresses, which often are often colors complimentary to gold.

Personality: Calixia expects Woe to maintain a wealthy lifestyle, and scorns him when he fails to live up to their expectations. The less rich he is, the more uncomfortable the spirit endeavors to make Woe feel uncomfortable with his lifestyle. She makes snarky comments and even engages in subliminal hints to shame Woe when he's failing to live up to the pinnacle of wealth. She's lovely when Woe is saturated in wealth, but absolutely unbearable when times are lean.

Other Information: During one early morning dream, he hears word from a little bird (her name is pickle, she likes rainbows and graveyards and very much insists that Woe needs to get more grain in his diet) that there is some kind if trouble in the east of Scalvoris. This mysterious messenger (who manages to dodge his every attempt to gain their true identity during their initial encounter) insists that this is more then just the run-o-the-mill Scalvoris/Fei weirdness and that things keep appearing and disappearing and no one seems to notice.

She takes the form of a 'Gunvorton Green' chicken hen. She has a practical and down-to-earth approach to problems, including her perspective to Woe's actions and general attitude, which she feels free to share at will.

Appearance/Biometrics: Standing at 5'10", she's rather tall, with delicate features and well-attended makeup. She favors conservative dresses that cover as much skin as possible. Her shoulder-length hair is often tied into a bun and cinched with a pin or a silk flower of some kind. Otherwise, her build is on the lithe side, with minimal muscle definition. Her skin is rather pale from lack of exposure.

Personality: Obedient to a fault toward her father, she doesn't have a rebellious bone in her body. Her father teases her for her conformity at times, but they have a good relationship despite their political and cultural disagreements. She nevertheless will not brook indecency toward herself or anyone near to her, and will fiercely oppose any attempts to thwart the upholding of modesty and propriety. It is this reason that prompts her to take issue with her mother's way of life, as a glamorous stage actress and adherent to the Lair's degeneracy.

Backstory: Rumored to be the illegitimate daughter of Madame Olga Dolizar and the late Duke of the Lair, Augusta is nonetheless extremely loyal toward the father who raised her, Filipe Dolizar. She scorns her mother for her promiscuous and flamboyant reputation, and even courts the idea of joining the Theocratum to put the screws to her wayward mother. She's yet to consider taking any commitments in that direction, as her father wishes to marry her off to a secure and safe prospect.

Relationship to PC: Filipe Dolizar is trying to get Woe to court Augusta, and Augusta is doing her best to facilitate her father's wishes. They will probably end up in a passionless courtship of convenience. They since broke off their engagement, and Woe is now employing her as a caregiver for his children.

She accompanied him to the Festival of Dreams in Scalvoris, where they were beset by a group of Nightmare Cultists, conducting the Eight-Fold Reverie with Augusta and Woe as their intended target.

In the Hot Cycle of 724 Woe intends to find Augusta once and for all, to find answers to her fate. This will form the basis of his tier 2 Whips and Dreamwalking plot.

Appearance/Biometrics: She appears as a biqaj woman with black hair. Over the long time she has been dead, her unique appearance has faded and she lost much of the specific features that defined her in life. This results in a form that is eerily devoid of facial expression or defining features such as scars, wrinkles, dimples, etc.. She's, in short, quite ordinary looking. Her apparition often wears the clothes she wore as a Theocratum priestess in life. Black under dress with red accents, and a red, blood-stained Theocratum habit.

Personality: The outgoing, rebellious and vivacious one of two twins, Eve's personality has remained more or less intact, as she spent the first hundred or so years of her death haunting the living, seeking out dens of pleasure seeking mortals and feeding on the ephemera of anak that dwelt there, as well as any echoes that may have been left behind. When she transitioned to Phantom, she turned her attentions to the life force of mortals who engaged in fun activities like gambling and storytelling. She learned quite a few tales in this way, which only enhances her already impressive storytelling skills which she possessed in life.

She's an inquisitive soul, and always desiring to know more about the living that she encounters.

Her obsession has become collecting stories as well as telling them when she can. She favors stories that involve romance, intrigue, and action above most other tales.

Backstory: She was born to a Theocratum Herald, and became a priestess as was her family's lot. However she bucked many of the conventions that were expected of a priestess. Where her sister Zoe was meek, polite, and obedient, Eve was strong-willed, irreverent, and rebellious. She rarely saw eye to eye with her father, Mikhah. He was always one to keep secrets, but she was ever an inquisitive one, who deligthed in upsetting anyone's need for secrecy and privacy. Her curiosity was her downfall, however. When she threatened to betray one of his secrets he violently seized her, and took his daughters life in a ritual sacrifice.

Relationship to PC: He found her in Quacia, and she's stuck with him, as he carries her anchor.

Death Remnant: When she symbiotically possesses someone, the possessed sees her when they look in reflective surfaces, instead of themself.

Personality: An unassuming woman of modest sensibilities. She is very down to earth and about her craft above all. She holds to the Webspinner doctrine with almost absolute devotion. But she plays the part of an innocent tailor, well enough. Otherwise, she's friendly and appears to be kind. She does have capability for incredible cruelty, as she was twisted like many of the Webspinners.

Backstory: Raised as a daughter by Woe's former mentor in Empathy magic, Brigantia, it was compulsory that Lacrima be brought into the fold of the Webspinners. There, she worked the needle while her 'mother' worked the loom, and they created a good business between the two of them. As Brigantia is a fair hand at creating fabrics, Lacrima never wanted for the material to work with. Eventually, she grew into a young woman, and a call went out for Webspinners from disparate cells to gather in a festive ball to be held in Erastus' townhouse in Andaris.

There, she met a young Woe at the event. Brigantia tasked her with seducing the young Woe, as this was as much a test of the Webspinner's proclivity for seduction and guile, as one to entertain the participants. It was more or less a coming-of-age event for many of the young Hatchlings. What many of the male webspinners didn't realize, was that the event's premise was to test both the male and female's seduction skills, but ultimately the men would be considered failures if they followed their mate to their rooms. The males were expected (though they weren't told) to exercise discipline in this instance. Woe obviously fails, and conceives a child unknowingly with Lacrima.

That was about the last he heard of her. Afterward, Woe is punished for his failure by Erastus. Forced to carry a Webspinner amulet openly, to be cursed by people for his allegiance. So that he wouldn't forget the lesson learned then.

Saun 722:

Snowflakes Falling in Saun ~ Woe tries to hunt to find some game to eat, to keep up Lacrima's strength as they continue across the Imperial Countryside. He comes up short on the hunting, but shares his rations, going hungry himself to preserve their supplies.
Someplace Safe to Bury My Bones ~ Here, Woe brings Lacrima to a safe place, where he can house her until he figures out how to help her emotional/mental/physical ailments. He invokes Neutral ground on the place as he owns the residence as well as the Bones shop that it was adjacent to. She tries to seduce him but ultimately fails, and he helps give her some more divine healing.

She cares deeply about her cousins and sisters, and will stop at little to see them found or at least protected from danger.

She happens to be a bit of a stalkery fan of Woe, too. She wants to be like him, following in his footsteps. That sorta thing.

Backstory: One of three triplets born in Gunvorton, she grew up during the despotism of the Pirate Lords, and survived in spite of the harsh conditions like most Scalvorites.

Her two sisters went missing during the Pirate attacks, which has prompted her to look high and low for any sign of where they might've gone, or what happened to them.

Description: Navnea is a secretive and guarded aukari thief operating out of Port Diablo. She spent much of her youth refining her skills at larceny, pickpocketing. Eventually she learned, as many cutpurses do, that nels aren't always the most valuable things to steal. She learned the value of letters early on, as the Pirate Lords put her to work on gathering intel for them. She learned swiftly the importance of keeping secrets as well, which was hastened by her learning of writing code and designing ciphers.

Her time spent around the crews of the Pirate Lords led to a relationship with one of their subordinate crewmen. A biqaj whose name is now lost to the waves, and Navnea doesn't speak of him much, save perhaps to her twin sons. She doesn't know his fate, only that the pirate vessel he'd served upon left in 705 in the Cold Cycle, and came back in 708 in Rebirth, minus her husband. She never stopped suspecting the pirate lords of culpability for his death, and from thence never worked for a pirate again, and in fact operated against them whenever possible.

These days, she raises her sons, teaching them the finer points of larceny. Far from a wholesome role-model, yet she cares for them deeply nevertheless. She just sees few ways of making it in Almund without resorting to crime, even today.

She nears the end of her days, as an Aukari in her 40's. It's only a matter of time before her body succumbs to the final fate of all their race.

Description: Fen is one of two twins born to Navnea Utojesk, by their biqaj father. He learned from an early age how to slip things out of pockets, and the basic tactics needed to survive on the streets. He is the fleet of their working pair, serving as the runner for whatever loot they manage to grab from a mark. He likes to think of himself as a hot shot thief, but he could scarcely manage without the help of his brother, as a distraction and a tough face to scare down anyone from chasing them.

He's often the first one to run home to Navnea, when the loot he gathers contains letters and pilfered data. In a lot of ways, he's become Navnea''s favorite, although she is careful to keep her partiality toward Fen from Jero.

Description: Jero is one of two twins born to Navnea Utojesk, by their biqaj father. He acts as both the muscle and distraction of their thieving pair. As a result of the trouble they get up to, he's ended up with a fair few scars to his face, which he uses to improve his prospects when it comes to either distraction or intimidation tactics. Pugnacious and loud-mouthed, he is the least subtle of the twins, and often differs from his mother in that he isn't afraid to speak his mind. Even so, he's a fair hand at disguise and theatrics, being the best liar among them. He uses credibility to enhance his deceptive prospects.
