> About Rozkia & her Creation

Roz, hm? Well definitely more one of my more researched/thought out PCs. See it started around the time I was bored at work, I was looking at some of the things I did before I started (roughly 1-1 1/2 years earlier, not sure). I was going through old sites and checking activity. Well, my other PC has been... kinda dead to me since before then (I took a long break) and my inspo for him was less than negative. So I signed up, linked the accounts and started from scratch. Thing is, I typically don't' stray from my box- so naturally I was on the fence about playing anything other than a human. I happened to catch my eye on Naer despite that, and after some grumbling I decided a fresh start might be the thing to kick me into gear. Thus Rozkia was made.

My first thought for a Naer not in it's native area- Amnesiac. But i scrapped it as soon as it popped up because i didn't want it to be just there- it needed to be relevant to the character, give her something other than lost memories. I chatted with a few mods, another PC i was lucky enough to be recommended, and boom! I was back at amnesiac. As of 12/21/2020, I can't say much more. But when I can it'll be added here- don't worry, I have it saved offsite for my viewing pleasure LOL

Hmm.. until then I'll do some building here for other things! Roz was originally a prime chaotic good. After some thought and talking it over, spitballing, etc, she had a newer facet - she was both chaotic good with a neutral evil undertone. See, I'm used to playing humans, who are very complex personalities. Often times humans have conflicting traits that make up who they are. Well, Roz isn't really an exception. She's amnesic, but hints and habits of herself before her memory loss still shine through as contrast to her newly defined(?) self. Overall, Roz is much more docile/calm than her kin- a black sheep if you will. She has no reason to be territorial or scary, but there's a part of her that she doesn't recognize. When she scares/intimidates people, she feels a sense of pride. But she doesn't like everyone running away from her. It's like this her true self shines through and confuses her- which is the real one? Or rather, which is the one she wishes to be real..? Not sure if I'll stick with this as she develops, but its something I want to play around with.

4/23/2022, and its time for a new ramble. Rozkia has stepped int the dark side, mawahahah!

She's matured in the darkest way - she knows she was exiled form her home and now she wants to go back and ridcule those who made it so. Why was she trying so hard to gain approval? For who? Why was it so important? None of that matters to her anymore - she embraced the dark revelation with grace. She wants power and revenge and she'll stop at nothing to get it. She scary, rude, moody, violent... and she loves it all, because it somehow makes her better than the other pathetic forms of Rharne.

Appearance: Allistor's age is displayed in the silver/white that colors his hair and wisened gaze. He has a set of hard lines just under his eyes which have a pale green hue. Of Allistor's features the merge of his beard and mustache - the thick, full stands that pass just below his chin - draw eyes easily as the Professors hair borders on thin wisps from his scalp. Allistor is average height for a human and he walks with a slow stride that shows his confidence in his standing on confidence and his ability to maintain it. He wears a pair of wire frames while out and about as his age has partially affected his eyesight.

Personality / Quirks: When Allistor started researching magic he never imagined himself a s a professor in a high class academy. He thrives in a challenging environment so becoming a professor was a logical step in his mind. Shaping younger mages, helping them appreciate and understand magic.. this was his calling. He takes keen interest in those more inclined to learn, often helping them in whatever ways he can. When Professor Hedwinct is in the classroom, there is bond to be some playful demonstrations and some seriously strict studying. He loves what he does, but he take sit very seriously and is very vocal about the possible downside of any magics. He isn't one to sugarcoat the facts, and as it stands there is nothing more dangerous than going into mage hood uninformed. He's lost too many pupils to be careless, and he insists that he doesn't take apprentices for that very reason, though he's sometimes swayed by eager and accepting minds.

Through his progression in magic, Allistor was aware of the general distrust for it by many. In his younger days, he advocated for mages. His aim was to bring to light the uses and good qualities for magic, but there was always that one bad egg. Eventually Allistor decided to change the outlook on magic in the classroom. He knew the dangers and risks. He knew the potential and rewards as well. It was time he taught that to the next generation. Though not particularly fond of initiation, Allistor is seeking a pupil he can pass his gifts to as he is getting up in age and will eventually have no time to pass on the infinite knowledge or progress further in the art that is magic. He seeks one student that has a thirst to know more, to be more. He feels his experience will make him an excellent teacher, and under his tutelage one special student will thrive.

Views on Rozkia: Rozkia has never wanted anything more than to be useful before now. She's always seeking something better, something stronger for herself. Misplaced or not, Allistor sees potential for growth in her. They have an.. odd sense of camaraderie. Rozkia readily absorbs whatever is given, greedily so. Allistor is almost all too happy to provide it, thinking her thirst for power is in good intentions. The kindly old man has found a student willing to do whatever it takes, even if for the wrong reasons he finds out eventually. That thirst, that drive, he feels he can shape it into something good. His success isn't guaranteed, but he knows better than to leave magic in the hands of a rotten mind.

Appearance: Lasvika is by no means a powerful warrior as most of her ilk and her build leaves no room to assume otherwise. She's relatively tall but slender. Rather than boast of strength and flex powerful arms and legs, she displays silent and inciting poise using her long limbs in sweeping gestures that rather befit her compact frame. Her pale blonde hair reflects the light during the day, giving the dim bronze of her eyes a soft cast. Her hairs underside is dark, muddy blonde and she always styles her strands in a pull back with braids in some form or fashion. A singular ether tattoo separates her eyes and chin from the bridge of her nose and a show of eye powder and lip balms ensure it donesnt stand out as a indisputable indicator of her race.

Personality / Quirks: Lasvika is the quiet sort - deathly quiet. She rarely emotes and rarer still is hearing her speak with much less of anything but a monotone. She's constantly bored in appearance and action, though that's hardly the truth. Lasvika has been exiled from Augiery - not that she tells anyone. Despite this, she was given a chance to return but only if she proved she was worthy of her homes' soil once more. She's vengeful and spiteful, scorned and bitter too. But she's controlled, precise, and sticks to her goals above all else. She only recently arrived in the city, but she's already integrating herself in the shadows. She has little respect or regard for any one soul unless she senses or sees they can be of use to her. Regardless of useless Lasvika wouldn't twice of leaving even the most helpful tool to die pitiful and alone. She's simply out for herself and she sees no reason to aid anyone who not pose no benefit to her, but can't even pull their own weight.

Lasvika speaks very basic common, often times her words are mixed with Grovokian if she doesn't know the word in common. She has a habit of gesturing which few will recognize as Euthic sign. She has singular focus as her reason for coming to Rharne are prioritized above all else, but she holds little interest in making connections outside of the required ones for her goal and profession. She's focused on revenge and shaping a certain Naer into a fine soldier that will cut down her enemies to restore her honor. She seeks only to return home, no matter who is sacrificed for progress.

Views on Rozkia: Contrary to what would be assumed, Lasvika does hold some semblance of affection for her daughter. In her eyes affection is equal to pride - and Lasvika has a fair amount for the younger Naer who survived the assault that preempted their exile from Augiery. As Lasvika was the last to be shown the door, she only heard of her Daughters tenacity in passing. Does Lasvika love Rozkia? Decidedly not, as a tool has no need for love only a purpose. In the same manner, there is no misconstrued thought of bonds and family between Lasvika and the young Naer - they understand clearly their value to one another amounts to how much use they will be to what the other wants at any given moment. It's that understanding and certainty that has allowed for a trust of sorts to form as their roles are clearly defined in the context of their partnership.
