At any moment she is able to pick out details of her surroundings and the people within them to determine multiple important facts about them - even those skilled in disguise or subterfuge will have to meet her skill level in order for her not to notice. Higher levels of appropriate counter-skills will increase the time it takes Faith to build up a picture. These details help her to build a much more information-rich perspective of her environment than anyone else, and means in any ongoing case, she is able to pick up on lines of special inquiry that nobody else would think to investigate, effectively quartering the time it would take to undertake an investigation usually and with near-perfect accuracy - although an equal proficiency in counter-skills would lead to a very difficult person to track or investigate. Should something be disguised magically, Faith would be as susceptible to the magic as she always is, it gives her no bonus to that at all, simply makes her investigation much more efficient.
