Settlement NPC

Settlement NPCs are specifically for player run Settlements, they will work in and for the settlement itself. Settlement NPC numbers are determined at startup of the settlement and then added to via PC actions.

Rules for playing a Settlement NPC

  • I. The NPC must work within the settlement (or for the settlement on business).
  • II. The NPC cannot give your PC anything (unless you pay for it).
  • III The NPC should never be the main focus of the story.
  • IV. Personal NPCs may join your Settlement, but they remain Personal NPCs.
  • V. Settlement NPCs follow all the standard Personal NPCs rules, whether they use point bank, applied for normally, or were applied for normally.
  • How Many?

The Population number of a Settlement is directly related to the number of people there. A settlement with a Population of 40 has 40 people, etc.
