Brief Overview of Starting Point: Ok so this is the final thread in the "get Venora resources" series. It reveals Faith's plan and how she's done it.


Carter knows Jimmy - the head of the Venora fleet that has been given to Ellasin.
We meet him. Faith explains the plan to him. He agrees. <---- this is important.

Then. Faith gives him (and he takes back to his crew) the cure (+zapnip) to the plague - cos they're immune but carriers.
Faith puts her Greater Servant's Mark on him.
She then leaves - and Carter does the rest that has been carefully planned.

Jimmy uses the tracker - this gives us information on where Ellasin is, and wipes his memories. Carter takes it back so Jimmy doesn't remember Faith at all.
He knows Carter - not as a Zuuda, but as an Intelligence Agent.
Carter has met with him to deliver a letter on behalf of House Venora.

The letter tells Jimmy that Ellasin has tricked them - order him to go over to Faith's side. But Jimmy is to tell no one. Not crew, no one. Keep up the facade, because you just never know when things might be useful.
It has more than enough information about Venora for Jimmy not to doubt it's authenticity (cos of her history with them) is written approrpriately (cos of her etiquette skill) and has the wax seal of the house (cos Zarik wrote to her and put it on there - I've linked it in there.)

The letter also tells Jimmy to expect support from the other noble houses.

Jess (who is distributing the cure) has letters for all of the other noble houses. Asking for some / all of their fleets and resources. Pointing out that, since Rynmere is in lock-down, they can't use them - and fundamentally, politically manouvering them into a corner.

Faith then will go to Jimmy's cabin, replace his lock-chest with an Echo Box and he puts the money and any correspondence received in there.

Nifty, huh?
