Quality of Life Update !

Hey all!

Few more Quality of Life Updates for you today!

1. If you are on a page and logged out of the site, when you log back in it will take you to the page you were on. But please note this does not apply when switching accounts as it takes you to the "switched accounts" page.

2. One for the staff! We now have the ability to configure an individual forum to automatically move locked posts. This will be great for things like the PSF, that sort of thing - but we will make it very clear if a forum has this enabled - just in case a player locks a thread!

3. In the PSF Mods and Players can now mark threads as "Solved" - this will be something that can be used per post, also in things like Dev Forums and will be set by the mods in the individual forum. So might say "Approved" etc.

4. Tabs have been edited so that they are a more silver grey theme which fits in with both Light and Dark skins for the forums. As much as we'd like to make the colours of the tabs customize-enabled for players, it's a very long job and not one that Tech Support can do right now. So, it's fitting in better. Of course, since we now have up to Style5, you can always fill the inside with a style if you want!

New Feature!!

Hey all!

So, I'm really excited to be able to announce a new feature today! It's one that I think will make a massive difference to our new players.

We've created this - a CS template which acts as a step by step guide to creating a character. This has links and examples in it. I really hope it's helpful!

The new feature, however is that, when a new player joins the site / a new account is made - that account receives a "Welcome PM". As that Welcome PM is sent, a new CS thread, in that format, will be automatically created for the new player - posted by that account, ready for them. The Welcome PM will give them the link to that CS, unique to them, so that they can start character creation and their CS is all set up for them.

So that the Character Sheet forum isn't flooded with bots etc, new accounts now have to undertake an email verification - so they have to verify their account via the email they signed up with. At that point, the Welcome PM and the CS are created.

I think this is really going to make a massive difference to the new player experience - as always, any feedback is welcome. Just drop me a PM or post in the suggestion box

Originals Updated in Wiki!

Hello everyone!

As many of you know, we're undertaking a process of "Lore Analysis" with our existing Lore to make sure that we're consistent and update our Lore more effectively.

I've been working on the Originals, and am pleased to say that they are currently done (although we will maintain the process as ongoing) - however what that means is:

• Each Original has a Q & A thread in the Q & A forum.
• The Originals now have their own wiki page.
• The Immortals page now has the Immortal "parent" listed per Immortal.
• The Immortals page, above, has also been analyzed, edited and updated
• Each Original Being's write up has been updated, clarified and I've added in A "Useful Links" section which includes their Immortal children.

I hope that's helpful / more clear for everyone. On to the Immortals now!

Q & A Processes!

So, you may have noticed that we've been trying to make our Q & A process more meaningful - by which I mean that the answers to questions actually get added to the Lore, in order for our Lore to be consistently the current state of play. Please, therefore, take a look at the Question and Answers forum.

In there we have a new Q & A thread for each Immortal & Original and each released Domain Magic alongside Races, Skills and Guides / Primers. Please use these and help us to make sure that our site is as up to date as possible!

We have revoked the rule forbidding a PC starting with both Magic and with an Immortal Blessing/Curse. PCs may now start with Magic and an Immortal Mark, and must follow the rules for both in order to acquire them.
