Description. Tris'are is considered to be something of a beauty. She is on the tall side for a Sev'ryn, and has a graceful, willowy build and dark skin. She has waist length black hair that she normally wears loose when she is not working. When she is working, she pulls it up into a braided bun so that it won't get in the way. She has large doe like black eyes. Tris'are has a tattoo of a willow tree on her upper left arm.

Tris'are is a kind, gentle soul who would never hurt anyone. She loves children and would do anything in her power to help a child in need. She is a very good listener, and has a gift of knowing just what to say to put someone at ease or to make them feel better. When she gives advice, it is almost always good advice because she is a very keen observer. But she will only give advice if asked, or if she feels that someone wants advice but is having a hard time asking for it. She is endlessly patient, but she does not tolerate willful stupidity well.

She had a large family growing up, and she was very close to her parents and siblings while they were alive. The experience of being raised in a large loving family made her long for lots of children so that they could experience the same loving family that she had. Unfortunately, a childhood illness left her barren. She is very devoted to Moseke, and has prayed for children ever since she married Tir'ras.

Tris'are has a fascination for herbs, alchemy, and making herbal remedies. She is a stay at home mother who makes her own herbal remedies for her family. When she has more than she needs, she barters extra herbal remedies and simple items made/enhanced by alchemy for things her family needs.

How Sweet!

So! This is a pretty good write-up. I apologize for not reply regarding the skills in PM, I must have overlooked that part.

Technically speaking, there are no Desnind specific rules for npcs, although I will admit... this NPC's power is alarmingly high compared to most write-ups we receive. Tris'are is blessed by an Immortal, a high-ranking member of the local order, quite skilled, not to mention is the holder of seven trims! Tha's an extraordinary feat for a PC, let alone someone who is intended to be a background character. I had to refer to Pegasus on this one since the Order of Adunih is her specialty, and she generally goes by a rule of thumb that NPCs do not start with trims.

Is there more story to explain and justify these perks? If there is, we might be able to find an easier compromise.

As it stands, I would be happy to approve her as skilled and a high-ranking member, but I suggest cutting out the other areas (the blessing and the trims). Thoughts?

I am happy to cut out the blessing and the trims. I was mainly wanting her to be a gold cloak with the idea that she would be Sei'rue's mentor if Sei'rue joins in present time (and I think she will). And for some reason, I thought an Order member of that rank would have trims. I have no idea where I got that because when I double checked the Order lore, there was no mention of that. As for the blessing, I only included that because when I was working on her, I was thinking Moseke would need to know/trust her well if she was placing her daughter in her care. I realized later that since she spends a lot of time in Desnind, Tris'are wouldn't need to be marked for that to happen, and I was planning on taking that part out, but you got to it first.

The blessing and the trims have been removed.
