I enjoyed the interaction here. You played Nalin's language barrier very well. It's often interesting to see how characters can work their way around that sort of impediment to interaction in roleplay. The tension here in the situation was good as well, with Nalin fighting off the effects of Ink Bloom disease while trying to communicate his desperation and need. All while trying to seem as non-threatening as possible. Not an easy line to tread when you're fighting against time.

Lavana's suspicion of Nalin and mingling attraction really added to the tension in this thread. The way you played her suspicion of a character she's attracted to rang very true. She seems like a hard-nosed individual, which makes her softening up toward and act of charity to Nalin all the more poignant. I very much enjoyed reading this thread.
