The Review
Please see below for your individual rewards. Please drop me a pm if you feel I've missed something. And, I hope to see you for the next "Special" like this. I'm thinking we'll call it "Easter Eggsellence: The Flunnies Revenge"......

Answers to Movies / Books / Etc
I can't claim that I haven't done any by mistake. But the ones I meant to do were:
1. The premise is a rip off of John Carpenter's "The Fog" / "The Inferno" is the name of the pirate ship in the Goonies
2. The post where Kura had an objective unlocked from being in "A State of Unagi" is a reference from Friends ("The One With Unagi") and "I'll Swallow Your Soul" was from Evil Dead II.
3. Of course, he's the Dread Pirate Roberts - and that's from the Princess Bride (book / movie)

Tio

Overview

Such great fun, you rose to each and every challenge with true aplomb and you did this, Tio-style. I really love how true to your pc you are, how consistent you are. Yet, he's so surprising. You have a really fantastic pc and I love writing with him. Thank you for taking part in this holiday special!

Points

XP Awarded: 20 (Event)
Fame Awarded: 20 (Event) + 5 (Negotiating for Kali) +5 (going into the tomb) -5 (grabbing the goblet) = 25 total.

Loot / Consequences

I swallowed it Tio swallowed some of the glowing fog. He has developed the ability to produce tiny amounts of mist from his mouth. With practice, he'll be able to produce smoke rings. The mist / smoke he produces does nothing, has no magical effects etc. He can just... puff smoke.
Echo, echo, echo In his pocket, Tio discovers a small walnut, still in the shell. It appears to be indestructible but, should Tio hit it with a hammer, when struck it gives out a beautiful single tone. Like a chime or triangle. Other than that, it's a very old walnut. If there's a walnut museum, sort of old...
So close Tio finds a small bag of old pirate coins with a value of 200gn.
I talk too much! One of the feathers from his stinky undead chicken has fallen. This makes an excellent quill and never seems to get blunt or smudge ink or anything. It remains a bit stinky, though.
So close 2 Tio also finds an old treasure map. The X is in the Sweetwine Woods.
It's good to be the boss Tio's ghostly form has "stuck" for his shirt. Otherwise unremarkable, he has a shirt which has a chameleon-like effect and will blend in with the environment. It is like it has been treated by alchemy and is not under Tio's control, it just blends in automatically.
The Funky Chicken A small statue of a thwarthog. It is of masterwork standard and seems to follow you with its eyes.
I want it all, I want it now A small blank journal is in Tio's belongings. This is a book of riddles
Going in to the tomb Tio finds a single gold earring (design of your choice). It is recognizable by pirates and might be used to get him out of trouble or bartered for a pirate favour.
Megalomania is not over rated! Tio finds a small hand held mirror. If he looks through it at an area, he can see ghosts or spirits in the reflection of the area. He can't interact with them, just see them.
Are you kidding me? Gimme the goblet!Having touched the goblet, Tio will now attract more spirits and ghosts. He will experience this indirectly, through thinking he's glimpsing movement and then there being nothing there, cold spots in rooms, sudden shivers etc.
There is no I in team Each member of the group has a small pirate coin. Whilst they are in proximity of another person with a coin like it (in the same room, line of sight etc), they are able to send one telepathic message. This is to all others with a coin in the vicinity and can be no more than ten words. It works once a trial.
I vote we keep it! Having voted to keep the goblet, Tio gains additional loot (he finds another 200gn in the pouch of coins) but the spirits around him are more likely to be malicious or malevolent. He will find that he is at the receiving end of a number of tricks and unkindnesses, things will go missing etc. It isn't one specific ghost, it's just... any that are around really don't like him.

Qit'ria

Overview

Oh, I have so enjoyed Qit'ria's contribution to this thread. You play in such an honest and straightforward way, Qit'ria does what she does and that's that. I really enjoyed everything she did - and your response to having to say something to Tio which could get misconstrued was just hysterical. Fantastic writing, thanks so much!

Points

XP Awarded: 20 (Event)

Fame Awarded: 20 (Event) +5 (going into the tomb) -5 (attacking the pirate) -5 (telling the bird to attack the pirate) = 15 total.

Loot / Consequences

I brought logs When Qit'ria collects up her belongings, she finds that the logs she has seem to have been touched by the mist. They don't burn any more, but they are constantly warm. She couldn't use them to cook, but they would be handy in and around her camp.
Doolittle Qit'ria has a new friend. Her ghostly panther. It can't do anything, can communicate with no one but her and it generally a bit of a whinge bag. But it's there with her.
So close Qit'ria finds a small bag of old pirate coins with a value of 200gn.
I'm with blondie When with someone she finds attractive, the ghost-panther is likely to say things to Qit and bombard her senses. This might lead to her getting awkward, shouting at nothing at all or repeating what the panther is saying. It's meant as a fun RP device and shouldn't stop you pursuing relationships!
The Funky Chicken A small statue of a "red fox-wolf thing". It is of masterwork standard and seems to follow you with its eyes.
So close 2 Qit'ria also finds an old treasure map. The X is in the Scaltoth Jungle
I boss the bird Qitria has a parrot feather. It looks like a perfectly normal feather but is weighted and balanced as a thrown weapon of your choice (keep in mind the size).
Easily Misunderstood Among her belongings Qit finds a pretty dress. It is worth about 70gn and is of a very good quality.
Going in to the tomb Qit'ria finds a single gold earring (design of your choice). It is recognizable by pirates and might be used to get him out of trouble or bartered for a pirate favour.
I want it all, I want it now A small blank journal is in Qit's belongings. This is a book of riddles
An ass out of you and me One of the feathers from your stinky undead chicken has fallen. This makes an excellent quill and never seems to get blunt or smudge ink or anything. It remains a bit stinky, though.
Ooops Qit'ria annoyed the Ghost Captain and he gave her a new hat. This hat is not visible to anyone but at random times for the next arc, Qit'ria will have an overwhelming urge to dance. This is your choice and yours to RP as you see fit - but there will be times when Qit is dancing before she realises it's happening again.
There is no I in team Each member of the group has a small pirate coin. Whilst they are in proximity of another person with a coin like it (in the same room, line of sight etc), they are able to send one telepathic message. This is to all others with a coin in the vicinity and can be no more than ten words. It works once a trial.
The Curse of the Pirate Captain Where Dread Pirate Roberts touched her, Qit'ria has five open sores. These do not heal and will not go away. Common medicine (aka the medicine or surgery skill) will not heal them. They drip and ooze and provide her with constant discomfort.

Arlo

Overview

Great fun! I loved how you played Arlo here - he's such a fun pc and I really enjoy your writing with him. At times he seemed amused, other times completely out of his depth. Great use of dialogue and I love the detail you put into your posts. I think what impresses me most about how you write Arlo is how very much himself he always is and yet, how very surprising he can be, too. Awesome stuff, really enjoyed it!

Loot / Consequences

I got an owie! In his trouser leg or nestled in his boot, Arlo finds a silver locket with a faded painting on one side. That farmer really loved his wife.
Echo, echo, echo In his pocket, Arlo discovers a pair of scissors. They are small and neat and he will find that they are always sharp, never blunting and are able to cut things that would normally take a tool much bigger to cut.
So close Arlo finds a small bag of old pirate coins with a value of 200gn.
Fashionista When he returns home, Arlo finds a preserved chicken leg. It's a wooden one, carved to look like a chicken leg. It appears to be a chicken-sized peg leg. When he holds it, Arlo feels warm, like he's wrapped in a blanket.
Going in to the tomb Arlo finds a single gold earring (design of your choice). It is recognizable by pirates and might be used to get him out of trouble or bartered for a pirate favour.
So close 2 Arlo also finds an old treasure map. The X is in the Scalvoris Mountains
A light in the darkness The glow doesn't go for a few trials (about 5) - as it fades, one of his fingernails turns black, like he's had an injury. From now on, that black fingernail can be tapped, once a trial, and it will give out a very gentle glow - like, one candle.
I want it all, I want it now A small blank journal is in Arlo's belongings. This is a book of riddles
I don't like it Arlo has a small piece of parchment which, it turns out, is a map of the surrounding area. It is always a map of the surrounding area, no matter where in the world she is as it changes with her

Overview

Kali'rial! When Kali said that she wasn't going with the ghosts, that was great fun. When she dealt with the bottom-pinching, I chuckled. When she did the rhyming, though, it was just awesome! Overview

I bet you Kura never thought she'd be leading up a Wing Commander of Stinky Chickens! She handled the craziness that was this thread really well and she emerged as a very sensible and natural leader.
