Comments: I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when Llyr started ripping off the legs of that poor tarantula. He was so casual and eager about it, does he know no shame? In all seriousness, this was a fine conversation on the political game that's unfolding in Etzos. Something that Llyr is really beginning to get a good grasp of. I still don't know how he managed to wrangle the loyalty of a blackhearted killer like Kasoria, but that's a damned useful thing to have.

I thought that Llyr's reflection on what exactly fuels the fire of Kasoria's hatred was interesting. It gave me pause to wonder what would happen if the source of Kasoria's passion were to shrivel into dust? Would he lose his fire? Would the Spark take over?

Anyway, hopefully nothing happens to disrupt the sense of loyalty Kasoria feels toward Llyr, or perhaps Llyr may find himself on a list.

Comments: What can I say about Kasoria and your writing of him? It's just so fantastic the detail you put into every post, bringing every important impression, feeling, though, and motivation to the forefront without fluffing your text. It's an amazing talent.

Kasoria is as always, Kasoria, albeit now with a very strong Spark that perhaps influences his thought patterns now. His paranoia was well played, and I enjoyed the call back to other stories where he was given pause with what to think of Llyr, even though he could dismiss such things as an external ploy. Or can he, really?

Excellent writing and enjoy the rewards!
