Near the Rigid Rooster brothel
Afternoon
Walking around Uthaldria, the young, cloaked figure and the older, bearded man simply looked around and at each other, none saying a word, considering how their last words together were. The pair wasn’t exactly getting along since they arrived in the city of the Lotharro, and now even less so than before, as their money was slowly depleting. Each passing trial, each passing break, meant less nels for them. And Aeon was keen on fixing that, but unlike any other day, foxface wasn’t.
The bearded man simply stared with a sly smile on his face, insisting that nothing was wrong, and that nothing was ‘up’. Aeon, however, knew better than to trust Connor Blake’s words and so he was determined on figuring out why was it that his companion wasn’t bothering him about doing some work. Trial after trial, it was all foxface could think about, and talk about, it was all any one of them talked about, and not just since they got to Uthaldria, but before, in Ne’haer, as well.
Aeon’s face, under his black hood, was as serious as ever, as his brain worked on all kinds of ideas as to why his companion wasn’t bugging him, or why he was smiling all of a sudden. Foxface smiled so rarely, it was truly incredible, except for when he had his plans set up, and those plans were never, ever ones that Aeon enjoyed.
”Ah, here we are!” Foxface finally shouted, loud enough for half the street to hear him, as he turned around to view the doors of an establishment the young swordsman definitely didn’t hope to see. It was a brothel, or for the lotharro, it was the brothel. He had heard about it several times since he had gotten to the city, mostly from the foxface about how it was too expensive for him to utilize. But what had changed? They didn’t get any more money, that was for sure.
”Oh no, I know what you’re doing, and it’s not going to work, I told you, I don’t want any of that crap. Even if I did, you said it yourself, it’s too expensive. And I don’t. Want. It.” Aeon said with an angry look in his eye as he angrily followed foxface, who was simply chuckling and holding a laughter in, inside, angrily. The young man knew what brothels did to people, what desire did to people, and he had no wish to participate in any of it, and he couldn’t make him. Foxface couldn’t make him.
”Alright, alright, I get it, you don’t want it. But you’ll want her.” He laughed only to stop as the swordsman threatened to draw his weapon in the middle of the brothel. ”Aeon, listen to me, boy, you need to relax, and I arranged you the best relaxation in the city, just trust me, when have I ever done something that ended up going badly. Except for..that time. But just trust me, alright? One break, give it one break, if it’s not working, leave.” No matter how annoying the bearded man was, there was one thing he was right about. The boy needed relaxation, so he nodded, and took off his hood, following the foxface man into a room someplace in the back of the building. ”Alright, this is where I leave you, have fun.”
Before Aeon could say anything, his companion was gone, and he was left alone in a dimly lit room with only candles as the lighting. It was strange to the swordsman that there were no windows whatsoever in the room, but he thought it was for privacy’s sake. It made more sense the more he thought about it, but he didn’t really have all that time to do it before a woman walked inside where the foxface man left. She was beautiful, extremely beautiful, among the most beautiful women Aeon had ever seen, and his jaw couldn’t help itself but drop an inch or two. It was strange to him, that someone of that beauty worked in a brothel. Weren’t brothel whores supposed to be disgusting, old, fat, or even bearded? Or had he just heard the wrong stories?
”Oh darling, what happened to you?” The woman asked, staring at the scars across the boy’s face, and slowly nearing him. He had already forgotten he had such a hideous face, her shining, flawless skin, her long, wavy brown hair and her deep brown eyes made sure of it. It was a sight to behold, she was, and she was now sitting right beside Aeon, slowly moving her fingers along the lines the monster had left there nearly an arc ago. ”Does it hurt?” She asked with a worried tone in her voice, like she genuinely cared if she was causing him pain. She wasn’t a whore, that was for sure, she was more than just that.
”No, it doesn’t...I just…” He mumbled out, not knowing what exactly to say. It didn’t hurt him, it hadn’t hurt him since the winter, but it was just simply...uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable for him to be touched there, and yet he didn’t stop her. He moved his hand up, but he couldn’t stop her. ”I don’t…” He continued, only to be stopped by a strange sensation on his lips. She was kissing him. The first thought that came to his mind was something about her still being a worker in a brothel, but it disappeared within a trill as the kiss continued and she climbed on top of him. It didn’t feel like a whore kissing him, it felt more of like a saint.
”What is your name?” She asked as their lips parted, but they weren’t staying away for long enough for Aeon to respond. He could feel the woman’s hand finding it’s way around his body and down between his legs. The thought alone made him shudder, but the thought wasn’t the only thing that happened.
”Aeon” He managed to mumble out as their mouths separated once more, but that didn’t last long either, and this time their tongues intertwined and hers won. She was way more experienced at the matter, it was obvious, so the young swordsman simply let her take him and he let himself relax. Exactly what foxface said would happen. He would think about thanking the man, but it would only ruin the moment, thinking about the bearded thief. The woman knew her way around a man’s body, both his mouth and other aspects of it, she knew what pleasure meant for Aeon, and she gave it to him. It had been a long time since he felt that relaxed and that happy, it was like nirvana.
”What happened to you Aeon?” She asked as her face moved upwards and she fully climbed onto the boy, opening his pants and removing her own dress from the play. Looking at her body, the boy couldn’t help himself but shed a tear in disbelief. This couldn’t be happening to him, not after all of the darkness he had seen, after the monster had started growing inside him, he didn’t deserve her. ”Sweet child, sweet, poor child. You’re safe.” She said, once more kissing him and placing his hand on her breast. The rest of it was just pleasure. All he could remember. Pleasure. Like none he’d ever felt before.
The sweet, low sound of humming could be heard coming out of the room, as the woman put her dress back on and got up from the bed, only to realise her customer wasn’t as asleep as she thought he would be. He was just a boy, a lonely, jaded boy, whom she had hoped would fall asleep.
”I am Nora” She said softly, warmly, as he sat down next to him on the bed to which they had moved at some point or the other. He was now, unlike her, naked. He had never been naked in front of a woman, and as uncomfortable as he usually would’ve felt about it, it was just fine for him now. ”How did you get to Uthaldria Aeon? Blake told me you were from an island far far away.” She asked as she moved a bit of her hair behind her ear and planted a kiss on the boy’s lips.
”It’s a long story.” He said, staring into the ceiling of the room, hoping that something would happen to stop it all. He didn’t deserve it, the pleasure, the relaxation, her, he deserved none of it. And yet he felt so happy with her, like he never wanted to leave. But he had to leave, and he knew that. This was one of the biggest troubles Aeon found himself in, and that said something, considering he was already once surrounded by Immortals who meant him harm.
”We have all the time in the world” She said with a smile, now lying beside him and looking at the very same spot at the ceiling. Aeon wished that was true. He sincerely did, but he knew that she was just a whore, who wasn’t interested in his story, but was even less interested in having sex with him again. ”You know, I normaly don’t like to get...physical, with my clients so quickly, but it just happened.” Or was she?
”I come from Rynmere, it’s an island east of here, a long way east. I was a knight there, a skyrider, actually.” He said, followed up by an excited ooh coming from her, before he continued. With a smile on his scarred face, he told her everything. About Malcolm Krome, and about Faith, Velma, and about Ne’haer, and then about foxface, and him coming to Uthaldria. He told her everything, and she seemed genuinely interested. She only listened with a smile and an appropriate reaction to every part of the story, but she gave him even more pleasure than he thought possible through it.
