His success in the fighting pit has not gone unnoticed amongst the fight pits and high octane event organisers of the world. One trial, Balthazar is approach by one particularly persistent such fight pit manager and propositioned with a contract for fights all over Idalos. With venues boasted from a city in every major continent of Idalos, he is asked to put on a show and fight in events across the plane.

Random Encounter:
While wondering down the street one trial, Kotton is accosted by the sudden appearance of a young, attractive female that thrusts a bouquet of flowers into his hand and a hat onto his head. Before he can react, she spoke urgently. ”Here-here. Hold-this-and-act natural…” With barely a breath between, the woman turned to face a quickly approaching man, elderly and send looking. ”Faaaaaarther. You CAME. Please, this is Simon… Simon, this is my father.”
The girl briefly glared pleadingly at Cotton as the man stood before them.

Random Encounter:
Inside his office, in the middle of the trial, from nowhere at all, a five legged rabbit hops from behind his desk as he stood to make he way home for the night.
Apparently completely oblivious to his presence, it hopped in, clumsily flopping its feet to the ground in a disorganised fashion before turning and vanishing once again behind the desk.
If he goes to investigate, he find a small shimmering portal leading to god knows where… This transient gateway will only last but a half a break before it vanishes again, never to be seen again. Will he enter?

Random Encounter:
After several trials of tracking it down, the impossibly illusive creature had been cornered in a small cove. There was no way out for it now.
As he approached, the creature’s usual illusiveness was well on form. Any normal creature was something this hunter could track without any effort at all, but something about this thing allowed it to literally disappear, for breaks on end and seemingly appear again without warning. How did it evade him… HIM, of all people?

Random Encounter:
Perhaps she is wondering the shores where the pirate ships hit, or she is handling one of the many salvaged parts of the ships when an eerie visage of a weathered and sea-beaten man appears. The individual, almost certainly a ghost, before her is but half a man, hunched and in rags. He leans in towards her, arm outstretched and face streaming with tears. His words were raspy and weak, his face pleading as he begged for her to help him with whatever it was that held him to this plane.

Bob: Well, I also heard he and Chrien... well.
Jim: What?
Bob: Yeah, he beat her at cards and dice.
Jim: Har!! Yah....
Random Encounter:
An old man from the sea visits Cally's while Winston is serving as chef. He seems to spit and gag and hate every dish that comes his way. What's his deal? Pretty soon, it becomes apparent through mutterings under his breath that he has a bone to pick with Winston. Can Winston win over this old sea dog, and make friends? Or is his antipathy so dire that he will not see eye to eye with the foot-long ferret?
