A Splash of Color
A cozy but roomy shop - A Splash of Color is a quaint building housed just within the earth quarter. The outside of the building is pure masonry, built from the ground up and white - almost like a blank canvas. There are windows to let in the light of sun's rays and the wooden door is decorated with a personal brand of graffiti. Above it a large sign displaying 'A Splash of Color' can be read in bold black print.
Upon entering the building one is greeted with an assortment of things. Finished pieces on canvas can be found hanging on the walls. A few wooden sculptures stand on display tables, and a checkout desk greets all immediately. To the left of the room there is a door and wall dividing the shop and office. In the office there is a decent sized closet behind a desk. A chair faces the storage closet between itself and the desk and two more chair's can be found in front of the desk. There's a partition to feed the feeling of privacy from the rest of the remaining space where more chairs are gathered to form a waiting area. To the right of the desk is a staircase that goes further down and higher up, but a sign makes it clear that no guests or clients are to venture either down or up.
The staircase leading below houses a small Workshop. There one can find rows of shelves housing unfinished or works in progress lining them. With no light, there are candles placed through the room - once lit one can see a few easels set up - some with canvas and some without. There's also a small bookcase with pails filled with brushes, quills, and a variety of other tools useful for the trade. Below it on the shelf are paints of all colors, as well as rolls of canvas and a few notebooks.
Venturing back up to the second floor leads to a simple bathroom and a wall and door that separates it from the master bedroom. Another set of stairs in the master bedroom leads to a decent sized kitchen.
