Skye Verath Lodge

Home of the first Jacadon Rider since Lord Commander Verne Andaris, Skye Verath decided to convert her long time family home into a sanctuary and training grounds for Skyriders from all corners of Rynmere. To honour her memory and life's work, her descendents continue to raise and treat sick or abandoned Jacadon and Volareon, allowing dedicated Skyriders the use of gear, landing sites, and housing for their mounts during their stay in the City of Andaris.

Currently, the grounds are run by Gaspard Verath, who is in charge of cleaning, feeding, and caring for the creatures, along with his sister Poppy Verath, who knows all there is to know about the animal's habitats, dietary requirements, and life cycles. The pair are always looking to hire people with a lot of animal husbandry or training experience, and will provide opportunities for hands-on training on the job.

Gaspard has been in charge of running the Lodge for the last six years. He is friendly, approachable, and happy to help anyone seeking advice or experience with any of the animals in their care. Gaspard works every season other than Cylus when he goes on holiday, leaving his sister Poppy in charge of the Lodge.

Poppy is a kind hearted soul who loves to sing and get lost in her work. She often spends a lot of time with the animals in her care and doesn't like to leave them for extended amounts of time, she does however, take half the Ashan season off to focus on her family and other commitments.

Job Title: Animal Handler.



Nir'wei joined the Lodge near the beginning of 716 and still struggles with his work, but he takes to his jobs with a smile and occasionally acts as a guide for visitors, when he's not taking short breaks from his job to other parts of Rynmere, searching for more information on the flying beasts that populate it.
