A second hello

Hello! So this is kind of weird, because I joined this site a long time ago, but then life pulled me away from the computer before I really could get started and then I completely lost track of this site! I forgot the name and hadn’t bookmarked it, and the closest I could remember was “Scorch Trials” but that’s a book. Turns out this site is really hard to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Like a mythical pirate island that cannot be found unless you already know where it is. But after years of wandering the hills I met an old hermit and leveled up some mad googling skills, and managed to hunt down a rogue RP review site that mentions this place.

So, with a bookmark in place and real life settled enough to finally make some time for role play again, I’d like to introduce myself again——I’m Amelia, I’ve been role playing for years. I started with DnD when I was younger but fell out of it around middle school, when I joined a completely text-based site called Mizahar. I fell out of that about two years ago for multiple reasons, touched it again very briefly a few weeks ago and remembered why I wanted to find this site in the first place. With my newfound tech sorcery, I was able to get here again.

I’m hoping to take my time making a character and getting to know folks here before dipping my toe into things; it’s been awhile since I’ve played in this format and I’m not sure how everything works here yet. But here’s to a (belated) new year of writing, because it’s hard to feel your best without a story coming out of your fingers.
