Re: Dancer Distress [Event]

Rynata nodded at the child who delivered the message, but she felt her heart drop all the same. She had been counting on her friend to help keep an eye out for the threat, and now this meant that she was the only one aside from Patrick, who seemed more focused on his date than the stalker.

In fact, there they were, in the middle of the street, locked in a rather intense moment of passion. Eyebrows slightly raised but trying not to stare at the couple too obviously, Rynata opted to look around the street once more. A sudden cry of anger went up where the light from the tavern ended, and she saw a suspicious cloaked figure righting themselves after apparently having walked into another pedestrian. This stranger also seemed to have eyes for the couple Rynata was shadowing.

Mind racing but remaining nonchalant on the steps of the tavern, Rynata waited until the cloaked figure slipped past to circle around behind them. At this point, she’d be stalking the stalker, but without Amaris around, hopefully this improved chances of not being spotted and instead, protecting the two love birds.

Milling along the shadowy side of the street, Rynata watched worriedly out of the corner of her eye as a different figure approached Aku’ana. Thankfully, it wasn’t any sort of crazed villain, but what happened next caused her brows to shoot up even further than before. The woman who had crashed into the dancer was now also initiating a passionate kiss. Resisting the urge to cover her face with her hand, Rynata kept one eye on the women and another on the cloaked figure. The former seemed to exchange words before marching away towards the tents, and consequently, Rynata.

Tipping her head at the wink the woman gave her, Rynata smiled politely and saw her off down the darkened street. Now it that their prey had seemingly taken the bait, it was up to the love birds to up the game somewhere where the stalker would be tricked into revealing their true colors.

Patrick couldn't help but scoff and laugh just a bit, mostly due to the fact that Aku was quick to dismiss on a bit of the fun. True enough he didn't have to be so forward with her outright, but patience was something he didn't fully come to possess quite yet. However blatant and impulsive he tended to be, it was typically all for the sake of achieving something. Typically fun was his angle but in this case, it was more about the prospect of luring this criminal into the open. Yet as he stood slightly firm with her leaning into him, Patrick couldn't deny that this did have it's own sense of fun.

The excitement in trying to catch this stalker was almost a powerful aphrodisiac as drugs or lust itself. Ultimately the Rharnian found his inclinations a little too difficult to contain, as they were only subtle hints to what he wouldn't have minded doing later on. Meanwhile Ri'ku continued searching through the faces caught passing through, sorting through them with few trill glances before their figures to observe. It wasn't until she felt the presence of someone she considered faintly familiar, which just so happened to be the hooded man Rynata herself stood nearby when he reached the docks. The little fairy soared earnestly to his position and fluttered around him, practically ignored as she remained undetected before the individual. However she still required a moment to observe, to see any discernible features she could immediately recognize.

"I think..."

"What's up Ri?"

"I think that-"

"Whoa." Patrick's thoughts were cut off by the sudden drop in of another, a woman that seemed to not only wrap herself onto Aku; but proceeded to kiss her in a hot and heavy fashion. For whatever reason Patrick was quite okay with this... In fact it actually killed two birds with one stone, since he had a front row seat while the stalker likely watched from afar. His loss was the gain of one lucky Rharnian in this case, Patrick could only smile big as an eyebrow elevated at the sight of them. After her hot and heavy show of affection with Aku she introduced herself as Yventa, with a grapple at the collar of his shirt to add into the greeting. Well then... Patrick certainly didn't want to lose possession of his only favorite toy now. But then again he couldn't quite take her so seriously either, needless to say he was very much aroused with the dominant act this woman displayed. What was that?

"Uh... Patrick?" The Rharnian smirked as he watched the confident Yventa walk away, heavily amused with her words as he admired the outline of her curvaceous frame. Damn! He hated seeing her go but watching her leave distracted him heavily, and it wasn't until Ri called out to him that he remembered what he originally came for. "Patrick!!"

"Sorry! Shit just got interesting for a trill. You were saying?"

"I'm pretty sure I've identified the perpetrator in question now!" She remarked almost with a little sarcasm.

"WHAT?!" Immediately his widely amused grin faltered to a serious expression, as he quickly surveyed the area before focusing back on Aku once more. "Why didn't you say something earlier?!?"

"Because... 'shit got interesting' apparently?"

"Shit." He couldn't help but mutter to himself, as he turned towards the ocean with his arm brought over Aku; more or less to hold her close and direct her attention away from the area. "And?" He continued silently with thought as he shot a quick grin to his date.

"There's a hooded man here with a cloak from the troupe, I believe it's Polehko because I'm seeing that red-orange color in his hair."

Got him. Patrick couldn't help but genuinely smile at that point as the first part of the plan worked, they lured and identified their culprit into the open but now? Now they were supposed to catch him... But how? Rynata and Amaris would have to distract him long enough, so that hopefully Patrick would arrive on time to apprehend him. Either that or just wait long enough for him to slip up... Honestly Patrick hadn't thought that far ahead, and while it created an awkward situation at this point in time; he still revelled in the fact his first plan prior actually worked. "Act natural Aku, you're friendly stalker is watching us as we speak." He remarked to her lowly as he brushed her shoulder with his hand, more or less acting like he was romantically talking to her quietly. "The good news is I know who it is, thanks to a private source only I can speak with."

At the moment however, he remained stationary and still faced the waterfront instead. Meanwhile Ri'ku continued to flutter around in the space above him, to essentially flag him down should Patrick look the other way. That is if Polehko made any further approach on them.
