Habitat: Desnind, Deep Forested AreasLifespan and Development: The Jagu are small nocturnal mammals with a pointed snout, short ears, an elongated torso, and short legs. They grow to 18-28 inches in length and weigh around 14-15 pounds. The density and color of their fur change depending on the season, brown to brownish grey in winter and reddish in the summer. The Jagu live in pairs or small family groups, with mating season falling between Cylus to mid-Ashan. A pregnancy lasts for 61-70 trials, litters normally have 6-7 pups although a litter made up of 15 was once reported. The pups stay with their mother for 4-5 months and are mature by 8-10 months.
In the wild a Jagu can live up to 6-7 Arcs, wherein in captivity they have lived up to 11 Arcs.
Diet: Fish, Frogs, Birds, and Eggs, Bugs, Fruit, Seeds, Nuts, and Berries
Temperament: Jagus are typically shy and docile keeping to themselves in thickly forested areas. However, they tend to get aggressive when one stumbles too close to their nesting area or their young.
Abilities: Good climbers and while not an ability, they sometimes wash their food before eating.
