She was born in her homeland of Augiery. The second child of her parents but the first female. She mocked her Human brother as she aged, taking delight in being superior to him and practising her claws against someone older but weaker. She knew little of her father, not really caring for his existence. She faught and trained along the other Naerikk children, honing her fighting prowess. it was bards that brought her attention first onto the existence of other races. Stories and songs about her people as dangerous, about far away places haunted by the shadows and children that shrunk away from their existence. She took some time to learn skills to travel before subjecting herself to the tattoo process so that she could leave her homeland. Intent on returning with her own stories, and the dangers of the sunlight in her mind.
After some Arc's of travel she found herself in the city of Rharne, frustrated by their dedication the their immortal, but a good place to lay temporary roots and gather more information and skills about the world. She hopes to gather enough money to afford her own horse and travel independently of the passing whims of others. The ongoing trade in the city providing plenty of opportunities for stories and learning. Her main problem having been the constrains of the language, a frustrating feature of the outside world that they would not use her language to communicate. Her main enjoyment comes from the fear as children stare wide eyed at her, and scaring them with her shadow form where possible. A task she is pleased requires very little effort.
