Tio raised an eyebrow at Ozbourne's claim that the two of them were now connected, his trademark cheeky grin returning to his face. "Aww Ozzy, I didn't know you cared. Well not to worry boss-man, I'll be the best student you've ever seen. Just you watch." His tone was joking, but there was a hardness in his eyes that betrayed that he was serious about what he'd said, even if he didn't want to show it. He'd gained more than just the spark of defiance today; he'd gotten a second chance to have what Zavious had denied him, the opportunity to learn about magic from a real master. Now he'd be able to do more than blindly fumble his way down the path of magic, haphazardly putting a string of parlor tricks together into a shallow mockery of his spark's true potential. Now he could get a better understanding of what magic really was that the second hand texts at the university could only help him guess at. And if the price of that knowledge was working for this secretive 'Seekers' organisation then so be it. After all who knew, he may even enjoy it?
With a grimace Tio pushed his sore body back up to its feet. By the spirits a hot meal and some sleep sounded like a good idea right about now. The rest of this practicing stuff could wait until tomorrow. "Nope, no more questions from me. Well, none that can't wait until I don't feel like I'll keel over at any second anyway. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go welcome Jesine's sweet embrace for the rest of the day, so find me tomorrow and I'll listen to everything you have to say about the elements, defiance and your secret magic club."

I haven't included a mutation since the lore page states that the first mutation doesn't happen until you reach competency. I have one planned out for when I do however.
