Ashan 31, several miles south of Krom
As the was just rising so too was the hunter rising to the call of the morning hunt. Bare feet plodded mossy earth as a small figure weaves between trees searching for prey. It had been some time since she had hunted and her stomach and mouth craved flesh in lieu of the most recent diet of plants and fruits. Plodding east of her home Cha moved towards a small grassy clearing where deer liked to graze and rest during the day. With luck she would be able to bag enough meat to last the next week before having to worry about it spoiling, and beyond that the Skin and antlers of she could get a buck would make nice trophies.
Making her way slowly through the dappled light Cha searched for prey only spotting the occasional squirrel or other rodent rustling in the underbrush. though not yet where their any signs of the quarry she wanted. After about another ten minutes or so of creeping through the desert Cha came across the first of many tracks in the loamy soil the cloven prints of a medium sized deer by Cha's reckoning but that wasn't yet a precise art for her.
Step by step Cha took to stalking the trail she had found hoping that it would lead her to an eventually full stomach, Rifska followed close behind also prowling, the pair of huntresses both sleek and quiet in their slog through the forest at dawn.
Slowly stringing her bow as She walked Cha prepared the long bow to be fired, grunting as she bent the bough and looped the string across it so that she could again fire arrows from it. Cha still had a full quiver of thirty arrows but was no less fond of losing one unnecessarily. As Cha walked forward now strung bow ready to fire She heard a soft rustling coming from ahead of her though she was not quite close enough to confirm it's origin she had a sneaking suspicion that it might be her prey.
