Faith had made her way into the Scholars' Nook, with the intention of doing some research. She had a little bit of time before her shift at the Order of the Adunih and then her time at the restaurant and Faith had some ideas for some things she wanted to look at. So, she had come to the Scholars' Nook. She was a regular sight here, these trials, the short and earnest human girl with the strangely pale eyes.
Before ordering anything, Faith had gone to the bookshelves and she had, in her arms, three books. It seemed obvious that she was a student of medicine of some kind, perhaps, since she had a book about known incurable diseases, Sev'ryn anatomy and the final one which had no title on the spine. Still, having searched for the books she wanted for a while, now there were no seats available at the open and free tables, so Faith had looked around and spotted one which was a large-ish table with only one occupant.
Could she?
There had been a trial, not so long ago, when she absolutely could not do such a thing. But now, she had a fairly limited opportunity and she was a much more confident young woman. So, the diminutive human woman who stood at about five foot four made her way to his table. Her long black hair was loose and her skin was pale like milk. Her build was tiny, bordering on scrawny but the thing which really stood out were her pale silver-grey eyes. In reality, they were blue but so pale that they didn't seem it.
She was young, maybe twenty but probably younger and she approached with a quiet determination which spoke of shyness beneath the surface. "Hello. I'm sorry to disturb you. My name is Faith and I can't find a place to sit down. Would you mind if I joined you?" Her smile was genuine, or seemed to be, and her expression a mixture of hopeful and nervous. If he said yes, then she'd put down the books and the parchment nestled between them and motion to the tome her new companion was studying. "Mine are medicine. What about you?" With a friendly smile she motioned around. "I live here. Are you new to Scalvoris or are you a regular and I've missed you?"
