I see that wells have offensive and, in some cases, latent power. Do you have to pick between one or the other when you're crafting an item or can an item utilize both properties?
Example: a windstar staff that emits a jet of wind and also weighs almost nothing

I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Wells are incredibly varied magical materials and there's no 'one size fits all' solution to many questions. So when in doubt, I'd send any specific ideas to the PSF for consideration.
