Well, Darius is being quite the hero! Please submit the "On Watch" thread to the Hopetoun tracker with the following consequence: Darius has earned the respect of the dozen people he rescued and he will gain 5 new people in Hopetoun as a result of this. Four of the five are general, regular folks, but one has a storytelling skill of Expert and has many tales to tell! Many of these will be ones which very much meet Cassion's remit here.

Summary of Story: On the Orm'del Sea, en route to the siege at Storm's Edge, the crew of the Libertalia rescue the survivor of an apparent shipwreck. But all is not as it seems! This simple act of kindness brings the wrath of Chrien upon them, and an epic fight ensues on deck! Chrien's vessel is almost killed, but - for the sake of his own crew - Darius is forced to let their attacker escape. The crew are left to lick their wounds as they resume their journey.
Anything else relevant? Chrien is not popular with anyone, Cassion included! Perhaps the Taleweaver can aid in seeing the Seascourge be hindered in some way, so that other crews can be protected from similar ambushes!

	This is an excellent addition to his Tome of Tales and, indeed, Cassion is interested in what Darius writes. Although he doesn't notice at first (cos I'm late mod-noting this post), the StormBox develops an addition, a small chain with a tiny silver charm in the shape of a flag on it. As spooky as the box is, that small flag is reassuring. Comforting even.

Thread with link: All Hands On Deck and Into The Deep
Summary of Story: A blast from the past, this one, as Darius made mention of these events in a recent speech, and I thought they should be included here. I've put them alongside each other, as two different accounts of events surrounding what happened in the wake of the Faldrass eruption. One speaks of the evacuation experience for many of the refugees, with ships lining up to get them to the main island. The other is an account of the burials at sea that took place for some of the Faldrassians in order to preserve Scalvorian burial traditions.

Anything else relevant? The events that took place just before these stories - the eruption itself - was the first time Darius knows of that he caught Cassion's eye. So it seems fitting to have these stories included in this book.

Did Darius write it in his Cassion-gifted book? (This can be assumed, but your answer here must be definitive). Yes, and he and I are both very glad that the stories can be in any order!

Noted - thank you. Although this doesn't prompt anything major, the next time that Darius gets this book down from the shelf, it has in it a beautiful bookmark in it. The bookmark has what seems to be an embroidered image of a ship on it, sailing across the water. The ship itself is obviously the Libertalia and, since the image moves he can sometimes see the ship close up, other times it's far away. It's like a little bookmark-gif-thing.

Summary of Story: Captain Demba, formerly of the Dread Otter - now the Sunburst - makes a return. He has really only been spoken of in the past, (aside from a brief appearance in 'Ottery Shards), but this time he is there in person, attempting to capture his old sloop through an act of daring deception. Darius and his crew fight back, however, and when Demba loses his own crewmates, Darius is able to lure him into a false sense of security before striking back and putting an end to this nefarious pirate's career!
Anything else relevant? Safety of the seas is important to Faldrass, and thus it is also important to Darius. Hopefully this makes the Hollow Sea a little safer for travellers and sailors alike!

	Noted. At some point (of your choosing) Darius will find a hat. It's a very dashing hat, wide-brimmed and with a very nice embellishment. Two things about the hat. A) It never gets ripped / torn / no wear-and-tear, it always looks new and snazzy and b) the embellishment always matches the colour of what you're wearing.
