The healer was a bleeding heart.
The arrow woman would have better off shooting her than the animals attacking them. But all the same she eased back when one fell, her lips curling into a sneer as she held the injured beast down, "You cannot think you'll save it from an arrow when its not the arrow that's broken in it!" Cir snarled as the beast jerked under her. It be a better mercy to snap its neck and eat it but her limbs in this form were not capable of such strength, even her tentacles might have only been enough if she strangled it. "You're better off putting it out of it's misery, not everything can be helped, healer!"
But if Rose responded it was lost in the strangeness that followed. The Mer knew this sensation instinctively. Not what the creature was but the feeling. It was the same feeling when a shark came. Everything would still, everything held it's breath and even the water would not churn as it looked for whatever it was it sought. At least in then she could have pulled away, knowing flight as the better part of valor of the shark was larger than her, this...being would not let her. And it was not just the world stilled, it was that the world died. The grass beneath it, everything around it as if it was sucked into a trench to be lost below in the deep.
The inability to flee made her angry, if she could have lashed out Cir would have tackled it but as it was she was as helpless as the rest of them. Unable to do more than stare in morbid fascination with building ire, her eyes burning pools of rage. Just to curl her lips into a snarl would have been enough but her body disobeyed her even as her lips were able to move.
"As if we could move, fool!" The Mer hissed out dangerously as she tried to glare at the entity. There was nothing she could do, she couldn't move but--if it was possible to freeze more she would've. Cir didn't need to move! With her Spark she reached, trying to touch it, feeling for the tangle of another creature to shove fear into it. Fear of them. Fear of crossing them. It was near impossible to tell if it was working but she pushed towards any tangle she could fine, shoving it like trying to jam a boulder though a sewing needle hole.
