Comments: Wow, I love a good circus thread! It's too bad that Faldrun saw fit to crash this party. Poor lucas, can't get a break or a hug from a pretty lady without getting a shank wound for his trouble!
Faith's enthusiasm for the circus was infectious, and her use of her divine mark powers when things went south was superb. The action here was all well written, as was the calm before the storm.
Padraig is quite the dashing hero. Between his marks and weapons and inventions, he's really an effective combatant. I love his bluntness in this line: Padraig added, referring to Faith and in spite of himself, his grin couldn't help but be unsympathetic. "Looks like you've failed miserably."
