The Hot Cycle in Yaralon is one of great relief and joy. With Ymiden's arrival, the first rains have started to arrive, and with them, plants began to give fruit. Food stores within the city and hungry stomachs are not near as common. Flooding within the city is actually significantly less this arc, due to the arrival of the First Tree. The ground is much more maintained now, so there is less disease spread from sitting water and roads are much more usable.
Weather and Climate
The rain begins building up through Ymiden, starting with one to two breaks of rain per trial from Ymiden 1-30, three to four breaks from Ymiden 31-60, and five to six breaks of rain from Ymiden 61-83.
Saun (40 trials) receives the peak of the rainfall, raining for nearly the entire trial, with only a few short breaks. Flooding is quite common during this season. The rain is so constant, the dark and heavy clouds tend to block out the suns, and humidity reaches stifling levels. Amphibious predators and nocturnal predators tend to reign supreme during this season as their hunting territories and hunting times have expanded.

Ymiden (83)
1-30 - The Fall of Emea has occurred. During this time, every fracture in Yaralon is closed, and those within them at the time are trapped inside. Mages adapting to being cut off from ether are oft dueling people in order to flay their life force. Status: Unmoderated, do as you please.
5th-26th - An Etherstorm behaving much like a hurricane has spawned over Maiden's Refuge. This wild, chaotic ether has made Idalosian physics fall apart and anything living in that area has become massively corrupted and many times more dangerous. It is also said that in the Eye of this hurricane, a great being resides that is controlling it. This has not yet been confirmed.
Status: Unmoderated for normal use. If you wish to venture into the Eye, requires moderator input from Aegis.
8th-15th - An Etherstorm ravages Fools Run with many tornadoes, each of a swirling color unique to it. These tornadoes are ever present during this time, and in addition to the winds that are damaging, each individual tornado has a different corrupting effect.

31st and onward- The perimeter camp held by the Death Nel Raiders around the now called Demon Burho (#21) is secured once more, after being attacked several times. The demon invasion is contained to this Burho, for now. Isandra Haze has called for all available arms to help with the counter invasion. Defenders, forward scouts, and soldiers are all needed. Those with magical or divine strengths are particular sought after. The first units are sent in on this day.
Mod Input and moderated - This is a long stretch of events, and will span many threads, modded and not modded. There will be a special events Calendar and Coordination for this one as well. - Aegis
34th - It has been discovered that the attacks on Yaralon’s ships were conducted by Blackbrine pirates and Ivorian naval vessels. It is unclear if they are working together or to what end. Multiple merchants have put out corpse bounties on pirates and Ivorian citizens. Captured ships or destroyed ships receive larger payouts as well.

37th - The Reisah called against the bunny Tunawa, and all Tunawa has far reaching effects. The Nonwantad Raiders, however, are choosing to ignore this call. This has led to much blood to be shed between the Nonwantad Raiders and the Meerbalard tribes. Additionally, any ships with a Tunawa on board will find the Nonwantads providing additional protections for it. On this trial, the leader of the Nonwantad Raiders has called for a meeting of all Tunawa in the region. This meeting will be held on a ship known as The Lilypad, near to the Nonwantad home.
Status: Open thread moderated by Aegis
40th - The bloodwaters of Bastards’ Grove have turned golden and have taken on the taste of honey. This effect extends through the entirety of the season, after which the waters return to normal. This has caused an increased presence of bears, who are also appearing to be more docile than normal. Those that drink this water find themselves able to communicate with bears during this season, after which it wears off.

43rd - A dark, curly haired woman walks into Yaralon. She makes her way to the Dancing Burho (#19), which is in the shadow of the First Tree. She claims a home of her own, and begins to recruit mercenaries into her own company, the Dancing Blades. The residents of this Burho quickly take a liking to her. She is holding open combat tryouts for any who wish to join.
Status: Unmoderated, do as you please. Combat tryouts require Aegis to moderate.
57th - The Merchant Empress Lidilei has begun outfitting her merchant fleet as strictly combat vessels. This has reduced the amount of raw metals and stones that she was known for importing. However, she is now launching an attack on Blackbrine directly, and recruiting any who wish to fight to join the crews of any of her 15 ships.

61st-68th - In the Ghost Burho (#27), the Burho in its entirety has disappeared into the Beneath once more. Any who enter the burho will find themselves in the Beneath, and any who exit will be back in Idalos proper.
Status: Unmoderated, do as you please.
72nd - A new species of vicious alligator has been spotted throughout all sections of Maiden’s Refuge. It is said to be faster than a horse, and has been seen in sizes small enough for a Tunawa to ride as well as Thiussum Ithecal. They are incredibly aggressive and seemingly difficult to capture or kill. It is theorized that they can be trained by the best Animal Trainers around, but none have yet succeeded.

83rd - All of the ghosts in the Ghost Burho (#27) have become extremely docile and complacent. They no longer seem to be attacking or possessing any of the residents. However, they have begun simply following people around at all times, watching them sleep. If questioned about it, they only respond, “Because he wishes for it.”

10th - An Ivorian naval vessel has penetrated the defensive perimeter around Yaralon without killing any people, bearing a white flag. The captain arrives at the docks unarmed, wishing to speak to the people of Yaralon as a representative from the Ivorian Empire. During this time, the Ivorian captain explains that Blackbrine is the enemy of Ivorian as well, and offers to join forces. He offers safe passage to Ivorian for any who wish it.
Status: Aegis will post a starter for this that players can then do as they please with.
16th-25th - A large battle has broken out at Heaven’s Fall between what appears to be Raskalarn’s forces and the Yari defenders. Runners from the Eternal Empire claim that these are not Raskalarn’s, despite wearing the appropriate equipment. Tensions between the two nations begin to rise.

31st - A massive Hulk thrall is spotted in the Ghost Burho (#27), much larger than the common size for a Hulk. It is rampaging through the Burho, targeting anyone or anything that is alive and consuming them.
Status: Aegis will post a starter for this that players can then do as they please with.
38th - In the Mud Burho (#17), beneath the First Tree, a large hole opens up beneath the roots. It is seen to be structurally sound, not posing a risk to the First Tree. However, it does appear to be a rather large tunnel heading toward the northwest.

The Invasion of Colegut
As this is a bigger event, I'm going to run it a bit differently, and thus, be mostly separate from the standard calendar. This event formally starts on Ymiden 31st, but runs basically forever until it is finished. However, this event will consist of bunches of threads, but will *only* progress based on completed threads. As such, every thread that is done in the Demon Burho will cause some form of update on the progression here. Every thread makes *something* happen. The overview as of the 31st is that the Death Nel Raiders have organized a defensive perimeter around the burho on all sides. The Demon Fracture (Proper name waiting on Velaine and Mastemyr) is now open permanently. Demons come in waves out of it, at seemingly unpredictable intervals and amounts. The demons are incredibly varied, but the Death Nel Raiders and other volunteers have held the line, keeping the threat contained to this burho.
The demons travel from the Untold via this fracture. So far, none have managed to reach the other end of the fracture, which is heavily guarded by demons. The language the demons use to communicate is unknown to all.
The Process
ALL threads conducted in the Demon Burho must have their link submitted to this thread at their creation. A mod may choose to modbomb these threads in accordance with the event. Additionally, open event starters or moderated threads may spawn as a result of threads conducted here. As every thread is finished, and reviewed, post a note in the same post that you posted the starter and let Aegis know. The event will be updated through this process.
Finally ALL threads in this event are to be considered open. However, if you do join a thread that you were not invited to, please be mindful of posting speeds and try not to slow others down.
Current Progress
31st - A defensive perimeter around the Demon Burho has been put in place by the Death Nel Raiders. Demons continue to invade, and no one has yet successfully reached the other side of the Fracture.Template

Weekly Updates
This event can ONLY progress by the outcomes and events that players themselves achieve. As such, in order to keep everything neat and orderly, the event will be date locked. Each week, I will read all posts up to current, and determine if the current threshold has been reached to advance the event. Following this, I will post an announcement indicating what information is new/what has happened so that ALL participants can be coordinated with on another.Week 1 (June 1st - June 8th) - Ymiden 31st-41st only. The defensive perimeter is still held, the Untold has not yet been breached.
