Larza composed himself, after a spell of crying along with Yeva and the stickman. Eventually they got a hold of themselves, everyone, and the tunawa jumped up into larza's satchel. He straightened the seashell hat she'd given him, and blew a kiss toward the nice human.
Larza, on the other hand, was suddenly raising his defenses once more. Although she was true, her position was precarious as a slave posing as a freewoman, or so he supposed she was, he hadn't been sure whose side she truly was on, until she began weeping. It was difficult indeed to fake such a reaction, and Larza knew that well enough, having tried and failed at times.
He suddenly did, although, have second thoughts about visiting his grand father. The old avriel may not recognize him, and was as like to kill the two intruders on his territorial forests as let them in and have a spot of tea.
"I think... I may have been mistaken about the person who knows attunement. Besides, we already have the information about the energy connected to this... feather." He flinched from the thought of that ill and disease ridden feather. "Is it possible all of this is just a random act of nature?"
He shook his head. "Perhaps looking for a cause is the wrong approach. We need to find a way to reverse and solve it. So that my... so that my avriel superiors will regain their glory."
He lowered his voice here, "I've been trying to find my way into the innermost sanctums of the Temple of Many, trying to delve into the mystery cults that exist there. There are whispers that some doomsayers are still about, in hiding there, and holding out against some greater disaster that has yet to fall..." His information was part fancy, part speculation. And full deception, not that he meant to mislead her, but he wished to not be seen to care very much for the avriel.
He felt if there were eyes on him that were unfriendly to the avriel, it'd be best to keep up the guise of a rebellious human, willing to challenge their glory.
"What do you think we should do?"
