Faldrun’s Knife Drawer
(Faldrass Badlands)

A dry, desolate tangle of hills, ridges and ravines stretches westward from the base of the Heart into the bowels of the badlands. Some unnamed traveler, noting the parallel rows of deep, narrow gullies that riddle much of the terrain, called this place “Faldrun’s Knife Drawer”, and no one to date has found a more apt name. There are no known passes through the Drawer, as it is known for short. Those wishing to traverse it must repeatedly descend and scale an endless alternation of gullies and ridges; it is treacherous, exhausting, and disorienting work even for the doughtiest explorers. Nevertheless, there are rumored to be great riches hiding within those dark ravines, waiting to reward those who discover them; likewise, there are whispered to be fell perils waiting in those places to take any poor soul who stumbles upon them unprepared.
