Major Healing!
Winston waved a hand at the medic as he fussed over him, both pleased he cared and feeling foolish for having caused such concern.
"Af cars yuh did. Wow-wee, wat an onna! Almost certainly cus yuh is a gud kinda chap." He said as if it was an obvious thing.
"Oh yus. 'Plus One'. A camman tink at weddin's, even far Immartals et wud seem." He turned to Ayla before expressing new excitement at the girl. "WOW! Me only eva been en Saiore's realm... I mean, dat makes far a pretty interestin' place, but I bet Viri's realm wus cool mun. Yuh most 'ave loved et?"
His ears pricked up at the mention of the Blacks. "Oh! I went tuh dere weddin'. Et wus last Arch and wus de first Idalos weddin' me ever attended. Et wus pretty gud. Tiggy wus nat soh keen. Bot dem es a bit shy."
As Ayla blurted out about the dragon and her grandmother the ferret gasped. "A DRAGAN?! Well I say. Me shar es glad yuh Granny wus OK. Me 'ere dat dragans cun spoil even de most determined party-goers fon." He admitted with a playful grin. There was probably more to that particular story, but he decided that it was not appropriate to probe the topic with a child present.
The ferret nodded along to the story as Tristan continued. "OOOOoooooo... A speach? Me cun magin dat yuh dad gives gud speeches." He scurried over to beside the girl and leaned in towards he. He held both his hands out, making two 'L' shapes, one with each hand and framing her father in his sights. "'im look like 'im 'as gud projecshun." He nodded.
The fairies, some of which were flitting around him, while others perched all over the walls and shelves began to let out little jingles as they emphatically expressed their desire to hear more stories.
Kelpie
spoke out most clearly, as the others spoke among themselves and gave little rounds of applause that sounded like something sizzling in a frying pan. "Oh would you? That would be splendiferous! We could arrange a party!"There was a chorus of approval from the other fairies and cries for a theme. "A Tea Party... No! A garden party!... Garden parties are for weddings, Snuffle, it should be a tree-sitting party... Oh yes! Tree's LOVE stories!"
Kelpie did a little spin and fluttered back over the Ayla. "Will you come back? We can do some more summersaults!" She exclaimed, so doing one herself.
When the rules were laid out for swimming Angela nodded, in total agreement. "Of course. I will not leave her alone. The last time I checked it was quite deep, though..." She turned to Winston. "Do you think that Chest could make it shallower for us?"
The ferret smiled, looked at the ceiling for a moment and then nodded with a bright smile. "Wat do yuh say Chest? .... Tanks buddy!" He looked back at his guests. "Et will be waist deep now. Jost let Angela know ef yuh want et shallowa. She cun Hala-cam me." He glanced at Angela to confirm she was happy with the arrangement and she smiled.
When Tristan showed an interest in the Tunawan alchemy, he explained about the circles, glyphs and singing. "...Yuh see? Yuh find de cannecshun between tings usin' de cannecshun between intenshuns. Dem are a littal like magic circles... Like circle magic ar somet'ing, bot the prapaties are camman acrass all Alchemy me tink. "
He was captivated by the master alchemist's suggestions. "OOOoooooo. A metabolizer... Noh, dat wud be awesome!"
With Tristan, he would go over the recipe, drawing on the man's experience, sharing his own knowledge of food alchemy and worked towards creating the final healing chew that would allow a person to re-grow a limb... WITHOUT dying in the process. "De bat blood creates an insaciable hunga. Et feeds an de bady af de persan ef yuh ar nat carful. Perhaps we cud include wat et needs from the blood af sometin' like a pig..." Winston didn't know if Tristan was squeamish about such things, but as a chef, he certainly was not. The idea of having a valid use for what would otherwise be drained and thrown away was actually quite appealing to him.
Notes on this new Chew
Winston already created a healing chew from the Emperor Bat here.
Peg ruled that I needed to thread some extra detail regarding dealing with the side-effects before it would do the full regrowth effect of the bat. I hope this accomplishes that in joint effort with Tristan (GM Alchemy).

He chuckled. "Well, noh, but LOOK!" He thrust the recipe at the girl. "Look wat we made!"
Angela read the scruffy hand-writing, not understanding anything beyond the title. "Regrow limbs indeed? Vega's hunders will appreciate that the next time they meet a dire wolf." She said with mirth.
The Cadouri span around to Tristan. "Wud yuh like tuh stay far dinna? We all eat around do main campfire. Et's great fun. Yuh are mar den welcam tuh stay ef yuh wish. Me share Chest cun sommon-up a room far de night." He smiled kindly. "Me totally onda-satnd ef nat doh. Yuh cun always com back annodda trial."
He suddenly burst out with a further offer. "OH! Yuh most take an Emperor bat wid yuh also. 'ere." He gave Tristan a writ with his name on it. "De hunta's 'ere in Sweetsang bring dem back all de time. Please.
Take one an me in tanks far 'elpin' tuh camplete de recipe.
